As a fellow attorney, years ago I met with Dow regarding a fairly simple matter. I found him to be profane, cavalier, arrogant, self righteous & borderline unethical in attempting to catergorize a retainer as "non refundable". In spite of dealing to represent me, he wanted to keep the retainer. Wow, I don’t even know where to begin, truth is as ashamed as I am to admit to being in trouble way too many times to know and experience several different lawyers, and public defenders I have to say that William Dow has to be the ONLY ONE I’ve ever came across whom shows nothing but care, respect and honesty! He’s upfront with you from the start and he’s very thorough when he does it too!
