George's help has been invaluable in my custody matter. I brought him a difficult case with an extremely high-conflict opponent. My former attorney was happy to kick the can down the road and let the opposing party walk on me. It had been several years; the case was going nowhere; and my daughter is growing up without a dad. I hired George in January of '24, and by June of '24 we had trial. Opposing counsel again tried to get that trial continued (opposition is happy to maintain the control they have with the status quo), but George made great objections and we went ahead with the hearing. Despite having far less resources than my opponent, and starting from the disadvantaged position of not currently having contact with my daughter, my ruling was favorable. I got some parent time, and the court did not heed opposition's ridiculous accusations against me nor their crazy attacks on my family. Unfortunately opposition appealed the ruling, so this fight is not over yet. I am thankful for what a great job George has done with my case so far, and am happy to have him on my side for the appeal. I wish I had retained him years ago when I first needed counsel on this case. Anyone in a difficult custody battle with an ex who has a high-conflict personality disorder needs someone like George on their side.

This was my husband's lawyer for our divorce. Vicky, the paralegal first tried to serve me electronically which is an unacceptable method of service in South Dakota. Once i was served in person I noticed Vicky had my maiden name on the divorce decree. I called her to let her know what my legal nane was and asked to be re- served under my legal name She once again tried to serve my via email and then she became argumentative, explaining that it would cost more money to serve me in person. Then she hung up on me! I can't imagine a more unprofessional response to HER errors! Again this firm was not mine, but based on these interactions I'd certainly steer clear.
