I had an amazing experience working with my personal injury attorney after my recent car accident. From day one, he was professional, patient, and truly cared about my situation. He kept me informed throughout the entire process, answered all my questions, and always made sure I understood what was happening with my case. He fought hard on my behalf and made the whole process so much less stressful. The defendant had initially put me at fault for the incident but thanks to Jimmy’s hard work and dedication, he was able to overturn the decision and i was finally able to move forward. Let’s see where do I start. While I am content with my case finally being closed. I still get frustrated with their lack of communication & disorganization. It took months for my case to be settled. My first deposition was rescheduled by them do to "double booking". The 2nd one was by me for personal reasons. One day they called me to see if I was ready for my deposition I said no because it isn’t today, they then tell me we’re going to need to reschedule you since you’re not ready, we hung up. I went to look at the letter to check the date & I was right it wasn’t that date, I called, & asked if I could keep my original date because I have been waiting too long for this deposition, I don’t want to reschedule. Finally the deposition date came in we got the deposition going. That same day my case was settled, yayy right? But wait Well I sent all my signed papers the same week I received them, I certified mailed them on Nov. 5th they said I should have my check in about 4 weeks, before Christmas for sure. I took pictures of all the papers they sent including the 1st page which gave me guidance on exactly where my signatures had to go. #1 Never did it state that I needed to have any witnesses signed. #2 my SSN was wrong so I called them to let them know. Around Thanksgiving I received a letter which Were copies of all the papers that had signed. That’s all that was in that envelope it didn’t, have a paper like the first package giving me guidance of anything that I needed to signed. Days went, and I called them to see how my case is going. Then they asked me if I had sent back the second package they sent me so that I can add the witness signatures, which were missing to be able to be sent to the judge. I said yes. I received the package but nowhere on that package is it said that I was supposed to sign and sent back. I simply assume you guys were sending me copies of all the papers I had signed. Then they stated that a Veronica had given me a call to let me know to sign this package. I don’t have a call From her. And also like I said there was no paper in that package Letting me know that I needed witness signature and that package needed to be sent back. Imagine if I hadn’t made that call? Moving forward. I went ahead, got the signatures Mail the package again by certified Mail, so that I can get there sooner. I was tracking the package. I then called to see if they had received it because on my end it said it had been delivered a Monday, I called a Thursday, to which they responded. Yes, we sent the package over to the judge today because we didn’t receive it till Yesterday, which was on Wednesday. FLAT Out they lied because on the tracking and said they have received it Monday. BTW are they not the professionals how do you miss the "witness signatures"? I then gave it a couple of weeks. After the two weeks, I have been calling every Monday leaving messages to a Veronica, which they always say she’s going to call me back to give her 72hrs & specifically say please don’t call before that. I wait the whole week with no calls from her, the following Monday I call again & per usual They just take my message and let me know that Veronica will be calling me. I called Yesterday Jan/20th they said Veronica will call you by the end of the day to discuss your case, SHE NEVER CALLED!! Here we are Jan/21st still, NO CHECK, NO CALLS!!!! I just need to know where my case stands, why so many delays? it is so frustrating not being able to hear from them, at the very least just to tell me the Judge hasn’t signed or whatever. I was willing to bypass the first errors because I understand that we’re all humans and make mistakes so I just brushed it all off as human errors. I wanted to sign the papers to close my case, Just get this over with and not have to deal with them again. But communication goes a long ways, there’s no excuses for the lack of Communication!!!! Do your research people, Be Aware!

After several years of waiting, I finally received my settlement check. While I’m grateful the case was resolved and that I received medical care, the outcome felt underwhelming considering how long this process took and everything I went through. For a case that carried this much weight and dragged on for years, I was honestly expecting a stronger settlement. The most frustrating part was the lack of clear communication. I had to follow up multiple times just to get basic updates, and often received vague responses. Toward the end, the assistant provided more direct answers than the attorney, which I appreciated. I’m relieved it’s finally over, but I expected a smoother, more transparent experience — and a resolution that felt more reflective of the time and impact this case had on my life.
