Filed a bankruptcy in 2019. Very first court appearance, Jonathan didn't show up, and I had to reschedule to come in the next day. Paid diligently through the whole thing, just to have it dismissed for being short 3 months before it was scheduled to be done, due to the property tax increase in Washington. His response to the pending dismissal was to send me on a wild goose chase to get a loan in bankruptcy, which was promptly declined by everyone. I had three other attorneys since say that he didn't do things he was supposed to throughout the length of the bankruptcy, to include a mortgage modification or even just check in with me. Phone calls were never returned, you only heard from him if the trustee had a gripe about something. Thanks to this company, I'm in worse shape now than I started. If you feel like flying blind and feeling like a second tier client, then this place is for you. The staff is awesome, but Jonathan either has too much client load to keep up with everyone or he just genuinely doesn't care. Almost every example with the Yelp reviews for this place is exactly the same as I dealt with.

I would recommend this attorney to anyone experiencing a financial crisis. When not able to answer my calls immediately always called me back within a reasonable time.

Back in December 2019 I reached out to Jonathan Smith. He was referred to me by Hyatt Legal, which I pay for through my employer and Hyatt pays him for his services. He gave me great legal advice and told me to reach out to him in the middle of January so he could take action on my behalf. I did everything he told me to and now he is ignoring me and instead of letting me know he is not going to help me he just ignores me. I have had to find another attorney.
