**Exceptional Legal Support with Shannon** If you're looking for an attorney who truly cares, listens, and stands by you every step of the way, Shannon is the one to trust. From the very beginning, she provided clear guidance, keeping me informed and ensuring I understood every stage of my case. Even in moments of anxiety about court and potential outcomes, Shannon remained a steady source of reassurance, offering unwavering support and expert advice. Her dedication, professionalism, and commitment to her clients are unmatched. I am incredibly grateful for her hard work and the effort she put into making this process as smooth as possible. I highly recommend Shannon and this law firm to anyone in need of reliable and compassionate legal representation.
This law firm was amazing to work with! They were patient with me while I got my documents together and always made sure I understood everything. Christine Price was a lifesaver she answered all my questions, even the repeat ones . Because of them, I was able to finally get out of the hole my ex left me in. I feel free thanks to their help!
I have been working with them for a few years on a suit and Steve i can say is a good man with a heart. They have a lot of talent in this office. Chris is one of the most intelligent people I have ever meet.
Watch out before you hire this law firm make sure you do your research, after I spent 1 million dollars in attorneys fee I still ended up in a bad situation which led me to hire a new attorney team. I paid the new firm half of what I paid previously and i am ina better position now.
Not worth placing a collection with.
This is a review of Laura Caston- not necessarily the entire firm, although they are ultimately responsible for the lawyers they hire. My husband and I decided to divorce and had an agreed upon offer prior to hiring Laura Caston and another attorney in Southlake. My husband did not want to hire any attorneys but since he was a financial planner, it felt like something we should do in case our agreement disintegrated for any reason. My money paid for Laura Caston, and therefore, I feel it reasonable and necessary to review given the bad experience. Laura met with my husband initially and was made aware that I had a disability and he was very concerned that despite our agreement, if this ended up going to court, I had the potential of receiving lifetime support. This was in my favor as I met all of the criteria in Texas. On email, Ms. Caston told my husband that I was going to "milk my disability" to receive a disproportionate amount of our assets. She advised him to go into my personal Instagram account to snoop around. This is why attorneys are viewed as sleazy. During this same convo, she asked him to provide her with a picture of me, which he did. She then went on and on about how beautiful my skin is and began asking him whether I had botox or fillers or plastic surgery. I found this to be very odd and unprofessional for an attorney. During the 2.5 months she worked on this case, she repeatedly tried to stir the pot by putting all of the false scenarios in his head as to what I was thinking, what I was doing, etc. None of which were true. He continued to tell her that he just wanted to be done with this and move on, but she expressed to him that she really would love to cross examine me on the stand in court. She acted extremely immature and almost as if she had some personal vendetta against me. Ms. Caston then began giving him bad legal advice telling him to not pay our credit card bills in their entirety which led to huge interest fees and major dings to my credit and his. She also encouraged him to open a separate checking account and have his checks diverted from our joint account to his, making OUR money completely unaccessible to me. This shows such a lack of character and integrity, but my husband followed her advice. In the initial offer, Ms. Caston added her own spin to the agreement asking me to change my legal name, wanting strict visitation rights for my almost 18 yo daughter treating her as if she was a 5 yo. Due to her immature behavior, what could have been wrapped up in less than a month, dragged on for 2.5 months and racked up almost $30K in legal fees, which I know was the goal anyway. For all of these reasons and more, I do not recommend Laura Caston. More experience and wisdom is needed.
