I ended up switching council. Justin is not very personable and I have never felt an attorney be so NOT on my side.I truly felt like he wanted me to fail. His front desk girl was equally not pleasant if you could even reach her. Do your research because this one is not it! I wasted 1k and most don't even charge upfront.

I made an appointment with Mr. Burton on Friday at 3 PM. I was there 1/2 an hour early (unintentional), but told the receptionist I don't mind waiting and she kindly sat me in one of the conference rooms to wait. 3 PM came and went, nobody came in, crickets. I got up and left at 3:05 because I felt like the law office didn't value my time. I am never late to appointments and they shouldn't be either, and if either party knows they will be late they should let the other party know. I left the office annoyed. I can't decide how many stars to give nor do I really care about that.

Justin Burton was respectful and no-nonsense with me. Justin has a brilliant legal mind and integrity you can trust in. Thank you Justin!

DO NOT GO HERE!! The lack of commutation with these attorneys is nothing short of embarrassing. Any questions I had were never answered and I was just told "we will take care of it". They do not make you feel welcomed, they are only here for a cash grab. Save yourself the trouble and go to someone else. These attorneys should be ashamed of themselves.

I highly, and I can’t stress this enough, highly would not recommend these attorneys. When I filed for bankruptcy a few years ago. Everything was great until after the attorney fees were paid. After that everything went down hill. The lack of communication from the office is an embarrassment. There were several instances where I would receive a notice from my trustees saying my case was going to be dropped cause I was not supplying documents that were being requested. Everytime I would attempt to call or email it would take them at a minimum of a weekto get back to me or not respond. When I would finally get a response it would never answer the question I asked. Justin Burton is probably one of the most unprofessional people I have ever worked with in my life. He is condescending and doesn’t have people skills. The receptionist was also very rude and unhelpful. I’m glad I never have to work with this office again. Please do your research before spending your money and time with these crooks.

I did a bk back in 2019. While the experience at the beginning was fine and the entire bk was completed I am extremely disappointed because my lawyer failed to inform my wife or myself that because we filed taxed jointly for 2018 and she wasn't going to be on the bankruptcy that she would still be getting interest and penalties. But the irs couldn't let her know because the joint return was in the bk. So after discharge my wife gets a notice of levy from the irs for interest and penalties that were added between April 15 2019 to Oct 17 2024. Being young kids that made a mistake you would think your lawyer would want to let you know what to expect especially since finding out after calling about the situation he said yep that can happen. Cool thanks for warning us or for letting us know she still needs to take care of her responsibility or that she should just do the bankruptcy with me. I wouldn't go back to them at this point.

If I could give zero stars I would. I'm sharing my frustrating experience with my previous Chapter 13 bankruptcy lawyer to caution others. In 2023, I filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy, despite being eligible for Chapter 7, and was not offered a payment plan, which led to unsustainable $90 monthly payments that I struggled to make due to living expenses. What's more disturbing is the unprofessional behavior I encountered, including insensitive and condescending remarks from one of the lawyers, who even joked about me having to eat McDonald's for dinner for the week when I mentioned my financial struggles. It became clear that they prioritized their fees over my financial well-being, and when I considered canceling their services, they attempted to bribe me with a lower Chapter 7 bankruptcy cost. If you're seeking a bankruptcy lawyer who understands the challenges of living on a low income, I would advise against this lawyer, as there are more compassionate and understanding attorneys who prioritize their clients' financial stability.
