I want to express my deepest gratitude to the Northwest Justice Project for all their unconditional support, especially to attorney Leticia Camacho, a truly outstanding lawyer. She treated me with the utmost respect and compassion, always taking the time to listen and understand me before offering guidance. She is always positive and incredibly kind; she is one of a kind. They were always guiding me through my entire case, even though they didn't represent me. They helped me with everything, including the paperwork. They told me what I should and shouldn't do; it was a team effort. I want to answer the negative comments about the organization, saying that NWJP is legitimate or incompetent. You just have to do your part. You have to present your case to the judge; no one is better than you at explaining and handling it. You have to object to the judge, and you have to have compelling evidence to back up your claims. NWJP is overwhelmed; many people need help, but obviously, they will choose truly serious cases where the evidence proves the applicant's innocence. For my part, I am very grateful to this organization. Without family, friends, or anyone in this country, and without money, they helped me, and I presented my case alone, and guess what? I won! Everything I asked the judge for was granted; the work of NWJP, the lawyer Leticia, the evidence presented, my strength and the way I defended myself was the exact point on this case.I am so grateful for the success in this case. We have went through N.J.P for a bit over a year. A special education attorney, her name is Mary Griffin. In the beginning she showed she cared. Ended up getting a bigger case load, She grew forgetful and very careless. She didn't stop the verbal harassment and the threats from mount vernon special education executive director... She didnt get academics in the home She actually refused it multiple times . And clearly didn't care that the school didn't document any progress.... so after the carelessness an us parents going through tons of emotional distress. we seeked an online academy that my daughter would benifit from.... . She didn't approve. We said we would move out the district. An told her the new location. she also didnt approve She always gave me a careless attitude, always huffing an puffing at my complaints... And NEVER represented my daughter lawfully.... If you HAVE to use this ORGS services,, I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND MARY GRIFFIN. . WHEN she released us, an closed the case... she seemed massively hateful.... I will be goin to newspapers an news stations about this. Also she seemed more helpful for the district instead of her Client. I pray for you if you HAVE to HAVE Mary Griffin as the attorney, she doesn't care about the childs best interest.

Phenomenal mission for human decency & housing justice. Mr. Sam Scott is a phenomenal attorney and so is Ms. Tiffany. They are badass! The team is impeccable, with utmost respect, honorable service, and commitment to upholding Tenant Rights & The Constitution of our country. This firm and organization of wonderful angels has restored hope for humanity to me and also blessed me with being honored to be an American Citizen. They give amazing free legal advice and support while maximizing clear communication, assisting in ways to gather evidence and submitting written requests for maintenance/documentation; along with vindicating clients with minimalist-written, tight responses for effective strategies within the law so as to simplify "extra" client content into the most favorable method to respond. PRO! Thank God for this non-profit and for the wonderfully generous and kind folks that represent We The People of The United States in ensuring Justice For All. Grateful to The Universe for such a miracle solution and for the kindness and care.

I attempted to contact CLEAR and the Northwest Justice Project for help, but neither helped. I was the victim of stalking and harassment, which got flipped against me (DARVO tactics) and was hit with a protective order as the pro tem judge refused to let me present my evidence at the hearing(which I worked very hard at) Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling that justice here depends more on resources than truth. Perhaps if I could afford a legal representative, the process might have been fairer. I have lost faith in the justice system.

A few short years ago I went through a terrible divorce, I was going through so much I couldn't think straight. I had my van impounded from the Seattle police department because they didn't want to wait for my insurance company to come and get my van from the railroad tracks I was stuck on. Long story short I got ahold of northwest justice project and a lawyer called me and helped me get my van out from impound and then sued the police department for me and got me some money. That attorney fought hard for me, that's more than my family ever did for me,that attorney believed in me and knew that I was unjustly being sent to the cleaners and I couldn't fight for myself. He gave 100% of his time and knowledge for me. I'd like to say to that attorney thank you so much for fighting for me and bringing justice to me. It was wrong what the police department did and you knew it. Thank you again and again for fighting for me.

They helping me with my slum lord our old slum lord Alan hua sold our building to a new slum lord in gentrified Georgetown and tried to evict us all and raise the rent o f the place while it has no kitchen washer or dryer and it has bed bugs and bums Plus a shared bathroom yeah

I finally got ahold of someone after 1.5 years of calling Monday-Thursday first thing in the morning. It took dedication but I guess they have less people than the need and I am grateful for the opportunity. I truly wish they had more resources to help people. I guess I wait for up to 5 business days to hear from an attorney. Thank you again for your time during this long up hill battle.
