A retired lawyer recommended Jerry O' Meara of Gust Rosenfeld to represent me in a lawsuit against Strongbuilt Enterprise. Mr. O'Meara was under a time constraint and referred me to Michael Woodlock. So I hired Mr. Woodlock and gave him the $14,000.00 in estimates on the shoddy work and repairs that were not done by Strongbuilt"s construction company. I have issues with the manner in which Mr. Woodlock represented my case. After Mr. Woodlock sent me over 45 pages of discovery from Strongbuilt, I phoned him and requested we engage an expert witness and have photos taken to support my case. I had no response for several weeks. So I emailed the same request. Finally Mr. Woodlock responded and stated that the case is basically my word against Strongbuilt. I continued to push for an expert. So Mr. Woodlock wanted to subena Mr. Meeks who gave me the estimates. Mr. Meeks had refused and stated Strongbuilt would slander his reputation. I asked Mr.Woodlock to find an expert again. I entered court with 15 photos I took with measurements to show how shoddy Strongbuilt's work was. Mr. Woodlock failed to bring an expert, enter my receipts, enter the Registrar of Contractors Gudelines - which our case was based on and did not disclose that my photos needed to be entered in discovery to be used. Strongbuilt only had to prove the work was done . The burden of proof was on me. I HAD TO PROVE IT WAS NOT DONE TO TRADE STANDARDS. I lost and even had to pay Strongbuilt's court cost . I trusted Michael Woodlock to be a competent attorney and one that would provide me with proper and appropriate counsel. However, my case was lost due to his inadequate defense.

Very knowledgable and capable firm. It took aver a year to transfer estate plans from one state to another and add two additional accounts to the estate. All told over 10 thousand in fees and firm would not provide itemized invoice of time. Unfortunate.
