⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five Stars – Thoughtful Engagement, Fit Ultimately Matters I had the opportunity to speak with Pranav Gangele and Andrew at Bean, Kinney & Korman regarding a new technology venture (Symbia). When we connected, both were professional, thoughtful, and able to engage beyond a boilerplate intake conversation. The discussion itself was substantive and strategic, which I appreciated. That said, the overall process took longer than expected, and I ultimately had to follow up to learn that we were not the right fit. For founders working on fast-moving or unconventional platforms, timing and momentum are critical. That aside, it’s clear this firm has capable attorneys who can think at altitude and handle complex matters. While alignment wasn’t there in this instance, I respect the professionalism of the individuals involved and the clarity once a decision was made. If I could give 10 stars, I would…five for Justin Benford and five for Jill Seiferth. Justin made sure my business wasn’t compromised while we were going through partnership changes and he controlled the narrative all the way. He was my secret weapon, the other side thought they were going to get away with something they shouldn’t have and Justin called it out. Jill represented me in my custody case and never left my side, even when it got difficult. For her, it wasn’t about "my client", she operated as "we" needed to, and made sure the opposing counsel(s) knew that "we" weren’t going to let them get away with their tricks. They didn’t, and there were two of "them", if that tells you how hard she worked to prevail. Very happy with this firm!

I'm currently working with Taylor Klauza for my divorce, and honestly, it's a mixed bag. On the positive side, she's genuinely nice and pleasant to deal with. When you actually get to talk to her, she knows her stuff and makes you feel comfortable discussing personal matters. She's professional and clearly experienced in divorce law. The biggest issues are communication and cost. Her fees are way too high for what you get, and getting in touch with her is a real pain. She doesn't give out her cell number and doesn't return calls reliably, so you're stuck with email as pretty much your only option. I CC her assistant hoping that will help, but they rarely respond either. Sometimes you might hear back in 15 minutes, other times it takes several days - there's no consistency. Bottom line: while Taylor is competent and nice to work with, the communication problems and high fees are really frustrating. In 2025, you need an attorney who will text you back and be accessible when you're going through something as stressful as a divorce. If reliable communication is important to you, you might want to look elsewhere. I'll update this review if the communication improves or if I'm actually able to see some progress on my case. Right now I am just pouring money into a hole.

Fantastic experience with Theresa Mihalik. My spouse and I had a prenup and our experiences couldn't have been more different. Theresa was efficient, knowledgeable, quick and I never felt over-charged for time. My wife's lawyer at a different firm was the opposite - slow, inefficient, and seemed to want to drag things out (possibly for more billable hours). The stark difference was extremely noticeable. I couldn't have been happier with my choice with go with Theresa!

Given the limited direct access to the attorney herself, the cost-to-value ratio may not align with all clients' expectations. Attorney Taylor Klauza Beckelman appears to be a competent family law attorney who genuinely cares about her clients' outcomes. However, potential clients should be prepared for high fees and limited direct communication when working with Bean, Kinney & Korman. If you value frequent attorney contact and quick responses to your questions, you may want to discuss communication expectations upfront or consider other options. She may be best suited for clients who prefer having an attorney handle everything behind the scenes and don't require frequent updates or direct access, provided they're comfortable with the premium pricing structure at Bean, Kinney & Korman.

I had the pleasure of working with Philip M. Schwartz of Bean, Kinney & Korman, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Mr. Schwartz specializes in small businesses, with a deep expertise in dentistry and dental practices. He assisted me with the purchase of my dental office in Vienna, Virginia, and the experience exceeded all expectations. Throughout the process, Phil was a true professional—kind, resourceful, and always quick to respond to my questions.
