Caroline L Smith really went above and beyond to help me and my partner with an issue we had with our first ever tenant. She was able to meet with us on short notice, made herself available when we needed. Her responses, prompt and thorough. Her knowledge, vast. Her approach, targeted. We couldn't be happier, even learning what we could have done better, and trust Caroline and team with our legal matters. Update: while our first visit and immediate follow-up was great, customer service trailed off dramatically. We didn’t find these legal services to be of value beyond our initial interactions. The team is knowledgeable but maybe too busy. Unfortunate, because our first impression was so good.

I called for the advertised free 15 minute consultation. I was only asked for my name and phone number, then transferred to an attorney who informed me that that was the consultation and any more would be $400. I informed him that I did not receive a consultation and after going back and forth with him twice, he asked me to explain my situation. I declined and informed him I would be looking elsewhere. If this is how they handle the initial phase, I want nothing to do with this practice.

Caroline really did a great job settling my case. I’ve used her company before in the past and had great results. This time I was a little stress with the situation I was in. So I decided to contact Caroline J. Smith &Associates. It’s been years and I was very surprised that her prices were still the same (it’s nice to be able to get a lawyer at an affordable rate). Horrible experience with Caroline. Look for a better landlord attorney. Started in February and were given false hopes of taking latest 3 month. Has been 11 months and still nothing. Case keeps "restarting" Do not hire this attorney waste of money and time!!!

Caroline was able to get my back rent forgiven through a afadavid she was also able to seal my eviction record i am very pleased with her outcome i recommend anyone that is in trouble to call her
