Carol Oshana is an amazing attorney. Being a first time landlord, she has shared so much information with me. She is so full of knowledge, straight forward, and just an awesome attorney to listen. I will definitely recommend her . Awesome.
I love her feistiness; she makes your problems her own. She has helped me with three cases, and since the first one, I admired how aggressively she defended my position while also taking the offensive to hold those responsible accountable. In the first case, a so-called partner approached me with her attorney to request a loan to open her business. Instead of a partnership, they took my money to start the business while excluding me from the legal entity. They never responded or provided any results in accordance with our partnership agreement. Ultimately, my ex-partner was banned by the court from doing business in Illinois, and her attorney lost his license. In the second case, she assisted me with a fraudulent real estate buyer who changed the contract from a 90-day closing to a year and a half. We went to court, won the case, and I got my property back along with keeping the $15,000 earnest money. In the third case, a renter stole someone’s identity to get approved for the rental unit. We took an aggressive approach and played hardball, fire with fire. The tenant gave up the unit before being caught not only for not paying rent but also for identity theft and damaging someone’s credit. Carol is both aggressive and caring.
Carol Oshana is an incredible lawyer!! She is aggressive, efficient and genuinely cares. We contacted her to help us evict a tenant who stopped paying rent shortly after moving into our unit. She took her time and advised us on what steps to take to initiate the eviction process. Well, I can tell you, we served the tenant both a ten and five day notice, and we were able to get him out of the unit before he was served the eviction notice. This would not have been possible without Carol's guidance every step of the way. It was such a weight off our shoulders when he moved out. Carol will now be our lawyer going forward. If we rent again (vs selling) we will have her help us screen the tenants, and draft up the lease agreement. We were so grateful to her, and she wasn't even referred to us. I google searched and her reviews were great so I called her.

I am an attorney and Carol Oshana’s service was excellent. My elderly mother had a tenant that hadn’t paid rent for two years, because of an oversight, she didn’t realize it until recently. The unit was a disaster and Carol took all the necessary steps to remove the tenant as soon as possible, she guided me through the process and explained every detail, and she provided me with excellent referrals for services to help restore the unit.
