Mr. Ormond was very professional, courteous, and just straight up. Hard to find that character in some. He advised me of my rights and how to best handle a legal matter; all the while listening to me and actually helped advise me other issues so that I did receive my full time with him. Definitely worth reaching out to him. His staff is amazing too! Very warm and welcoming. Would refer them 100% without question.

He raised his voice several times. He believed he was straightforward, but he really didn't expound upon actual facts that I presented as it pertained to statute and policy. After him over talking me and raising his voice a last time, I concluded the appointment. I was allotted 30 mins for a consultation, and I didn't even finish it. I was seeking someone who truly stood for whats right and not what he felt was worth his time. I genuinely pray for him and whatever he may be going through.

I was referred to Mr. Ormond Jr. by the SC Lawyer Referral Service. I went in for a consultation with him and he was very nasty, sarcastic, and rude. Finally, I was uncomfortable and had enough. I ended the meeting, grabbed my things and was heading out to speak with the manager of the establishment, when he stated he owned the practice. I drove a hour and a half, paid $50, and was insulted. I would not recommend him. Not helpful at all, in fact I already knew most of what he was talking about. I was unable to dispute the issues/possible of case of why I was there. He was loud and talked over me. In my opinion, if you don't want to help people in a courteous manner, get out of the business you are in!
