We hired Marjorie Baker to draft affidavits of heirship for a house after the death of a family member. Our initial call was delayed due to health reasons of the attorney and rescheduled. We received the affidavits 6 weeks after they received recorded copies back, and only after following up. I was told the paralegal would have had no reason to check the file, but her invoice included a billing entry for receipt and review of the exact affidavits 6 weeks prior. Even more, the firm billed US to reschedule that initial meeting. Incredibly unprofessional.
