My husband retained Goldberg & Lindenberg to represent him and his business partner in a dispute with another partner. Initially, the firm appeared responsive and accommodating. However, after the initial retainer was paid, the level of service declined significantly. Communication became inconsistent, with emails and calls frequently going unanswered. Legal filings contained avoidable errors that required refiling, which caused unnecessary delays. What should have been a relatively straightforward matter became prolonged and frustrating due to repeated administrative issues and lack of responsiveness. Ultimately, my husband and his partner felt compelled to file a complaint with the Attorney Grievance Committee, terminate the firm’s representation, and pursue further legal action, which eventually resulted in a settlement. Based on this experience, I would strongly caution others before engaging Goldberg & Lindenberg for legal representation. The experience raised serious concerns about professionalism, responsiveness, and overall client care.

At the start, Mark Lindenberg was very receptive, professional, and gave me confidence he understood my case. But once I paid the $3,000 retainer, everything stalled. The paperwork dragged on, nothing was filed, and when I asked to take a different approach, my calls and emails were never returned. I never received an accounting or refund of unspent funds, even though that’s required by law. A very frustrating and disappointing experience — not the firm to turn to if you need timely or responsive help.

He frequently missed deadlines, made careless errors on legal fillings, and provided little to no guidance on timeline/expected outcomes regarding my civil case.. To make things worse, the office manager was consistently rude and dismissive when I raised concerns about The mishandling of my case. Instead of addressing my issues, she brushed me off and made me feel like I was an inconvenience. This level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable, especially when dealing with legal matters that require attention to detail and client care. I expected a certain standard of service when I hired this firm, but instead, I wasted time and money on people who didn’t seem to care about their clients or their work. I would strongly advise anyone considering this firm to look elsewhere for competent and respectful legal representation.

This company is the best!! After first call and leaving the voicemail on Saturday, Mr. Alan Goldberg called me back right away and scheduled an appointment on Monday. He figured my case out very quickly, called the landlord's attorney and gave me all the answers I needed. He didn't charge me for consultation, even I wanted to contribute after his help. He told me I didn't need an attorney and gave me all the advise I needed to proceed my issue myself. I'm more than thankful and will never forget his kindness!
