I was recommended the Balams Firm by a really close friend. I hadn’t ever been in a predicament to need an attorney but ever since the very first phone call I knew that I was in good hands. Communication was very well received through out the entire process and even when holidays came around they were thoughtful enough to send cards and gifts. They were on top of all of their business and made sure that I was aware/and understood every step of the way of every detail. I felt comfortable and at ease knowing that I did not have to handle the unfortunate situation at hand, all alone by myself. Being able to rely and trust that they were working on behalf and for my better good allowed me to recover and find my way again amidst having my world turned upside down. As someone new to Atlanta, I can’t stress enough the importance of finding a law firm that truly has your best interests at heart. In August 2024, I was involved in a horrific car crash. I am incredibly grateful to have walked away, but the experience was terrifying. Another driver made an illegal turn and hit me head-on, totaling my car. Initially, I was hesitant to hire a lawyer. However, my chiropractor, whom I trust deeply, recommended I seek legal representation. Despite my reservations, I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, this was a decision I deeply regret. I won’t delve into the specifics of my case, but I can confidently say that this law firm is not one I would recommend. When a settlement check is involved, it feels like lawyers "can" manipulating the situation, pressuring you to sign every document to protect themselves from their questionable actions. I realized too late that I should have settled directly with the insurance company instead of trying this lawyer. It’s a truly unfortunate situation. I genuinely liked my chiropractor and trusted her judgment, but I should have listened to my instincts. If you find yourself in a similar situation, please be cautious and choose a law firm that prioritizes your well-being over their profits.
