I don't know where to start with my five star review for Peggy. When I started my divorce journey after being in a very long, painful marriage not knowing how to start Peggy took me under her wing and calmly walked me thru each step of the way. She calmly took every call when I began to get scared and calmed me down. She was my rock and my angel. Because of Peggy after 30 years I am starting a new life filled with joy.

When I found myself in the position of needing a divorce lawyer, Peggy was recommended to me by a friend. I am so glad we connected. She problem solved with me, gave me advice, and then followed through on my wishes. She was always available when the process got challenging, helping me understand what my next steps were. Peggy Roston was my Rock of Gibraltar during the time of my divorce. It is already a stressful time in ones life and mine no exception. Simple the best divorce attorney in Alaska. Peggy worked hard for me and gave me great advice. She was my rock during a very emotional period in my life. I was fortunate to have her. You can't go wrong with Peggy.

I called twice and spoke to a receptionist, requesting an appointment. She took my information and said that Peggy respondes "quicker" through email. I sent 2 separate emails and never got a response. I attempted 2 more times to leave a message with the receptionist for an initial appt. visit/consult. After trying for more than month with zero response, just to make an appointment I am left frustrated and utterly unimpressed. If you're on vacation, say so. If it's 6 month's out to schedule, say so. But, it is extremely dismissive to not respond at all to someone seeking to schedule an initial appt. for a consult. Do not waste your time on all the good reviews you read here!

I also tried to make an appointment with Ms Roston to review a QDRO that I had from a previous divorce. I also was told by the person who answered the phone that I would have better results contacting through email. I did and received a response fairly quickly telling me that she would be available between 2pm and 4pm on the following thursday and asked me to let her know if that was acceptable. I emailed her back and said that yes that would be ok with me and I asked if I should call her or if she would call me. NEVER got a response. I emailed the day before asking the same question....nothing. I emailed the day of....nothing! Called the office and asked to speak with her thinking that I was perhaps supposed to initiate the call myself. Lady who answered said no I cannot speak with her that she was busy. I explained that I was under the impression that we had an appointment albeit by phone. Was told to email her, that was the only way to contact her....period! Will now look again for another attorney to help me out! FYI I was even willing to pay for the phone call time, I don't expect something for nothing. Hope this helps someone else out especially if it's important that you receive the info you ask about.
