I’ve had the pleasure of working with Francie Novar on two separate matters. In each case she helped me to achieve exactly the outcome I was hoping for. It was important to me to try and be reasonable and amicable in dealing with the opposing party. However, I also wanted to know that I was working with someone who would fight hard for my needs if it came down to it. She took so much stress off my shoulders through the process. I was able to focus on everything else going on in my life because I could trust that my case was being expertly handled. That alone is so valuable and hard to find. Francie is an excellent choice if you want to work with someone professional and knowledgeable who will give you realistic expectations. Your lawyer is there to prepare you for what to expect and Francie will tell you how she thinks your case is likely to go and what your best options are. It might not be what you want to hear but it will be what you need to hear. That is what you get when you work with someone honest, straight forward, and experienced. Every step of the way I felt as though Francie did her best to keep my legal costs down which is another reason I trust and recommend her. If another need arises I would certainly call Francie as my first choice option.

My son and I were very happy with the result Francie obtained for my son. She handled a landlord-tenant case which arose from the landlord playing fast and loose with landlord-tenant law during Covid. She communicates well, negotiates well, and her fees are more than reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend her.

Ms. Novar really works with you. Or at least she works diligently for me. I searched for a few lawyers to help with my FOC case. Being a father who lives in another state but has a child in washtenaw county just makes things harder. She is patient with me, even when I'm not very patient. Ms. Novar is a good person which transcends into her being a good lawyer. I'm grateful for her services. When I tried to link up with Dads of Michigan or other organizations to help me as a father they never offered me what I found here. If you have a family or friend of the court case I would recommend Ms. Novar she is worth the money. P.S. she charges very reasonably compared to lawyers who asked me for 3500-4k upfront and 350 n hour for their services (I'm not sure what her non family court charges are so don't quote me). Just know I think highly enough to write a review with 6 stars. I know it's 5 she gets an extra star for being awesome.
