I worked with Jim and his firm during a very trying time in my life. Jim's counsel and Guidance throughout the entire processes of my Legal Separation and Divorce this year was delivered with a unique combination of both compassion and wisdom. Jim's communication style is direct but never bossy, which was very helpful for me during this time. Jim and Dorothy were and continue to be an absolute godsend. I wouldn’t listen to any negative reviews. They can’t be correct. Never, ever have they ever been anything but clear and transparent. As a matter of fact I was told at the first appointment that this case could cost me a lot of money and it did. Never have I ever had any hard feelings about the money that it costed me because he works hard and that was evident from day one. You get what you pay for. As you can see they can’t even spell his name correctly. Even after my divorce has "ended", I resort to things he has said throughout the process. My case was complicated to say the least and somehow Jim and Dorothy simplified things in the past few years for me. Jim was always interested in how I felt and what would sit well with me and gave me space to think. He’s incredible. Understands what’s worth fighting for and what will draw you of what seems like the only energy you have left. Don’t hesitate for one second. Forever grateful.

Horrible experience with David Hudson. I am living a literal nightmare with my ex. Serious unreasonable behavior made me leave a 23 year marriage. I realized I was actually being mentally abused. He literally said the court doesn't care about that. My ex tried to defraud me through the settlement agreement I caught it and obviously didn't sign. Informed him and I was posting on Facebook since she had defamed me. David lied and said her attorney asked me to stop posting. That was not true. Her lawyer emailed him concerned I would not sign. 10 days later there was an attempt on my life. David did nothing. Did not reach out to Buncombe County Sheriff or anyone for that matter. He did not ask for the evidence I had about the situation. I spent 10k for this service. Now I am handling the case myself since other lawyers are too afraid. But you know what I found out. The court very much cares about domestic abuse and the seriousness of this case. That is why I was transferred to the DA's office to report it. Also there is a box on the counter claim for Domestic violence. So, in my experience. If this is not cut and dry. Don't waste your time or money with this group. All he cared about was getting paid. So, it's ethical that after I told him about the fraud. Which I can back up with emails. 2 days later he reached out to me asking if I was going to still sign the agreement? I just told MY lawyer they were going to use the settlement to steal the house from me. 2 days later he still thinks I should sign because if not we are going to court... WHICH I was ready for. Shortly after others asked me the same thing one the otherside? Thankfully I didn't stay with you guys. Your reply says it all!!

I have been working with Jim Siemens for over a decade on my divorce, custody arrangement, and child support issues. In what can be a highly emotional and stressful situation for the parties involved, he has always remained calm and has kept me grounded. We managed to stay out of a courtroom for a very long time and when we did finally have to settle one matter in court he and Dorothy were once again very professional, calm, and clearly understand the family court process and are highly respected in that forum. I would highly recommend him and his office for any family court needs you may have.

My situation involved the valuation of a medical practice which Jim and the expert witness he enlisted handled in a fair and thorough manner.
