When I was referred to Nikki as my lawyer, I had no idea I was about to strike gold in the midst of one of the most painful phases of my life. Nikki became not only my trusted advocate, but also a kind and compassionate friend who showed, every step of the way, that she was willing to walk through this dark period with me. She made me feel safe to be myself, fought for me with compassion, and was honest about what was best in my situation. She was realistic about possible outcomes, yet always caring—often asking how my family and kids were doing. She put herself in my shoes and met my situation with genuine empathy. She also gave me something I desperately needed: hope that things would get better. Both Nikki and Chris assured me they would always be there to answer any questions, and they proved that to be true. They supported me every step of the way with gentleness and kindness. I truly cannot imagine having anyone else as my advocate.

If I could give 10 stars to Nikki Maples and her staff I would. She fought hard for me during my divorce, but at the same time, was caring and compassionate. She explains everything thoroughly and gives you all the possible options. She is wonderful. I highly recommend her.

I had the pleasure to work with Maria Portella for my prenuptial agreement! Though it might feel a bit emotional or awkward thinking about divorce before even getting married, Maria made sure that my interests were covered and always answered any questions I had. I also had to have my prenup reviewed with a pretty quick turnaround. Maria excelled at fulfilling that timeline and was also incredibly thoughtful, professional and thorough in all of our conversations. She had my upmost interest in mind and I felt like I could talk to her about anything. Her paralegal, Krissy, was also quick with responses and wonderful to work with. Thanks to Maria, I was able to receive a prenup that covers my interests if ever needed!

Nikki’s expertise in family law is unparalleled. Although I have never formally retained Mrs. Maples, she has been by my side to collaborate whenever I have needed her. Nikki and her firms communication's skills are excellent, and truth be told, hard to find these days. Everyone here is responsive (consistently) and easy to talk to. Unfortunately, I have been dealing with a complex divorce case for way too long but, Nikki has truly helped me with sound advise and reassurance. She also cares about my overall wellbeing and what is best for me and my family.. and if you don’t think this is important… think again. she will not steer you in the wrong direction and will always have options for you, even if they are not favorable, and transparency can be uncommon in this type of law. She is sensitive to what her clients are going through.. you will want an attorney that cares about the full picture. Save up, do what you have to do to have this team on your side! I honestly can’t say enough good things about the amazing team at Maples Jones. They are brilliant, kind lawyers with an abundance of integrity. If all lawyers were like them, the world would be a better place. Unfortunately, I had to use their services twice. So I am writing a second review. I have had the pleasure of working with Meagan both times. She is thorough, honest and keeps her clients up to date. When I chose them it was because of their reputation for integrity and results. I am happy to say their reputation is well earned. I have friends who have had similar cases and didn’t get half the results that Maples Jones got me. There are a couple of things one should never compromise on such as coffee, tissue paper, a good accountant and excellent legal advice. I am very grateful for the kindness, professionalism and results that I have gotten working with Maples Jones. Side note: I also love that my attorney is a mom, she gets what my kid means to me and how everything I will ever do will be for him and his wellbeing.

Meagan was absolutely amazing. Of course no one wants to end up needing a lawyer, but I'm so thankful I chose her. She was empathetic, she was extremely responsive even though mine was a very difficult case spanning 3 continents and crazy time zones. She made sure that I was always clear with the projected path and process. Assertive and knowledgeable, Meagan was not only amazing in her legal/ professional capacity, she really did have a focus on what was best for the children and making sure that they were the top priority. When curve balls were thrown, she was quick to respond and assist, no matter what the time was. I would highly recommend Meagan Jones.
