Warning: Rene Cespedes is an attorney who has represented my ex-husband during a years long custody battle over our two minor Sons, as a result of our divorce. People need to know that Rene is only in it for the money. As a Father himself, I am appalled at his manipulative ways, false accusations, refusal to thoroughly research accurate data/evidence, and most importantly - his careless and nonchalant attitude toward the well being and final outcome of kids involved in his Family law cases. Rene Cespedes was and continues to be phenomenal in all areas of my divorce and custody battle. He gave me a concrete plan and stuck to it. I must object to some reviews posted, and I'd advise (and have recommended a few I felt were contentious about their family court desires) to hire Rene. Let's be honest, custody, divorce, and family court matters is not a win-win industry (for anyone). Shoot, sometimes when you feel you won, so does the other side. It's the nature of the beast, then you get the bill... I have invested into Rene several times over more than five years. anyone whose dealt with family court matters knows, get ready to embrace the suck. Finding an attorney that wont just rush you into unnecessary legal battles is important, but rare. Rene strikes me as the type that will hear your wants and steer you accordingly as best as possible. If you want quality and skill when you do have to go to court, I would stop the search and hire Rene. But be realistic about your situation, before you blame your counsel.

I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with Rene. He is NOT all about the money as he spends time with his clients working through questions and is extremely patient and doesn’t ring the cash register every time. He is patient and thorough. I think anyone who would put a critical and negative review for him as a non-client such as the one below, shows his effectiveness as a lawyer who will work hard for his clients best interests.

I paid Rene robbery cecpedes for help with my daughters abused at Mom's by mom and boyfriend. He promised to help them got my check went on vacation. Kept my paperwork until mom was able to start a case w lies. Anything he files was late. He came back from vacation lookin like he was on speed or cocaine for a week or two. He didn't help my kids like he promised. He didn't do anything he promised. Interesting choice of words by Mr. Rand. "Strikes me" would suggest that Mr. Rand has NOT been on the receiving end of Mr. Cespedes' activism. Mr. Cespedes is far more activitist than attorney. This renders him unhirable. He is fiercely financially dependent on the industry. Divorce Corp explains it all. It's just a game for him.
