I worked with Jeffrey Sheehan and his paralegal Sara Parker over the course of almost 2 years navigating a lengthy, difficult divorce and custody process. This law practice had a good reputation, and my experience through these matters affirmed the same. I’m guessing everyone says this - but, my particular process to navigate was anything but usual or normal. I could see tenets of Jeff’s family law experience shine through, and also solid lawyer poise under pressure when things looked a little ugly here or there and we maintained our posture in a calm and dignified way. Sara has a gift of knowing her audience, and moving on things with no BS tenacity, while being a human being that knows what you are aiming to do and what she needs to get you there. We invested ourselves hard together all three of us, I learned a lot, and when I had hard intuition about things, they listened. These kind of life sequences are never fun, but we built a means for getting through it with grace and sureness in a respectful way. I would use them again.

Jeff was great! When we first met and went over the details he informed me upfront that it was going to be tricky but doable,as there is case law that supported me. He never led me to believe I had a slam dunk case, he was upfront and honest with me. He worked with me through every issue I had and understood the tough issues we were up against. Going through the procedures I was a little reluctant as it seemed like he was doing things to add billable hours, but I don't understand the laws and how they work. Most people don't! Let's just say in the end I was very happy with the outcome and I would recommend him to my best friend if needed. Sara was a huge help as well. She was sort of my therapist through this tough time. She is super sweet!

I hired Jeff to represent me in my divorce. It was a brutal, highly contentious divorce and when I initially called, Jeff's assistant, Sara, was calm and took as much time as I needed to explain my situation. I hired Jeff after a mishap with another attorney and thank God I did.  My divorce was extremely litigious and contentious as my x- wife attempted to cut off all contact between my children and me. The case went on for two years and included a 3 day trial- which I lost.  But, Jeff never gave up on me and listened when I told him, "We need to be patient and the truth will come out." Sure enough 9 months later and after serious mistakes revealing my x- wife's true character - the judge reversed his previous decision and gave me full custody of my daughter. Jeff hung in there with me even when he could have easily opted out of the case and moved on. Sara, Jeff's paralegal, is a gem. She works hard for you, sides with you, and will even be your friend when you need her to just listen. You can't find a better attorney in Idaho. I highly recommend.
