He represented my son in a divorce case with Children. He didn’t show up nor advise what to do with paperwork nor did he help with mediation etc. in other words. I stinks as an Attorney . He also had the audacity to ask He also had the audacity to ask me if he was competent or just stupid. some if he was competent or just stupid. If my son knew how to do the paperwork etc and would have had to do it his selves then why would you pay for an attorney! Wouldn’t want my worst enemy to experience this let alone a friend.

For a little background, I have had the case out of hell. My ex wife has been keeping my son from me for two years. It has been nothing less than a nightmare dealing with the court system. Finally I got to a place financially, where I could get legal counsel. So after a google search, Marble Law came in the picture. Eric Sims was assigned to me from Marble. So I paid $1,100.00 (I know.) to have this paperwork filed and the message conveyed to the court. All I needed was some paperwork filed to enforce custody orders, and to properly explain my situation to the courts. It was unbelievably hard getting in touch with Eric Sims, the attorney assigned to me. He called me for the initial consultation and I thought I was in good hands. A week goes by and I find myself reminding him I needed help. Another week goes by without a whisper. I called him again and he had no clue what he was supposed to do. After making contact several times already and repeating my story 3 times verbatim, he was disgustingly rude and grossly unprofessional. Blew me off since it’s only pocket change to him, what was said to my wife and I while we had him on speak talking to our family. Fast forward to this review. I called Marble for a refund immediately. Only to be given reason after reason why I cannot get a refund. Keep in mind, no service was ever provided and nothing was ever filed. No court was ever contacted and no effort made in any form. And the lawyer, Eric Sims forgot what he was supposed to do. They charged me $650.00 for "efforts," made on their side. And when I asked for a written invoice to show dates, times and explanations as to what I was billed for. They refuse. They claim, Eric Sims, claims he worked on my case. My refund of $650.00 is denied and that’s fine as this point unfortunately. But I want to make sure Eric Sims and Marble Law are reconsidered for hire is you ever have the misfortune to "work," with them. Go anywhere else but Eric Sims and Flatirons or Marble. I hope this review finds others well.

Eric is a terrible attorney who doesn’t respond back to any phone calls or emails. He doesn’t know what he’s doing when it comes to family law. Do not hire him. Oh and he’ll charge you for not doing any work on your case.

Eric is my hero! My daughter’s sister’s mom was represented in a permanent restraining order case against our daughters’ dad. He did his due diligence to understand the situation, and called us all individually to discuss our testimonies and the contents of our statements. He is professional, kind, and knowledgeable about the law. I wasn’t present for the entirety of the hearing, but, my daughter’s sister’s mom won! After 10 years abuse, Eric was able to solidify the permanent protection order against this guy. This is the start of a new chapter in her life, because his abuse was so difficult to "prove". I am so incredibly grateful for his skill and expertise! I know my daughter’s sister’s mom will be using him for family law matters in Colorado as well. No words to describe this amazing lawyer AND amazing person!

Eric Simms represented me in a relatively minor traffic related issue. He went above and beyond my expectations and in the end I had no point added to my license and no other other adverse outcomes. I will be forever grateful for his assistance in my time of need.
