Stephen Bennett was knowledgeable, thorough, and extremely patient in walking us through our wills, trust documents, and powers of attorney. We had put it off longer than we should have because the process felt confusing and intimidating, but he explained everything clearly and made what could have felt overwhelming very straightforward and organized. He was honest, helpful, very knowledgeable, and acted with integrity (and lots of patience with me, asking lots of questions.) Overall my experience with Arnold & Smith was great...even as far as divorces go. I will speak specifically to Attorney Courtney Carter and her paralegal Gail Oliver. Both those women made this experience so much better than it could have been. Courtney was fantastic from beginning to the end (if there is an end to these things). She was professional, straight to the point, gave it to me when I deserved it and was sympathetic when I needed it. She was very detailed in her explanation and outlined trade-offs, that even though I didn't want to hear them, were logical and correct. I can't say enough good things about Courtney...so if you ever find yourself in this position...call her. My only advice is...if you don't want to hear the truth...then I suggest finding another attorney (but you really want her on your side during these...especially in North Carolina). Gail was outstanding as well. She was professional, polite, always managed to make me smile and was very timely in my responding to my inquiries (and I had many). They make a good team and you will be in very capable hands by handing your case to these two. You won't go wrong.

Attorney Courtney Carter is a professional and caring attorney and she will make sure your rights are always protected.
