I am deeply disappointed in your actions as a GAL lawyer. I recently learned that my daughter expressed wanting to come home, yet you chose to ignore and hide that information instead of helping her. That shows a complete lack of care for my child’s mental health and best interests. It feels like you have shown bias and discrimination toward me because I am Deaf and Black. You clearly lack understanding of Deaf culture, and your behavior has caused harm instead of support. I strongly suggest that you educate yourself about Deaf culture and how to work with families in a fair and respectful manner. Your conduct has shown poor judgment and professionalism, and I plan to share my experience with others so they are aware before choosing you as a GAL lawyer.

She probably doesn’t even know who I am even though she came to my house and talked to me. She writes on bad reviews that she wasn’t the GAL but I think she just forgets about the kids she works with.

My overall experience with Ms. Thomas was amazing . She handled not only my case with care but she handles my concerns with care . She stuck with my case for 2 years now. Even the hard moments when I had many doubts, one thing this woman did was spoke alot of positivity before court and after . Here we are with all great news and things were granted in my favor. Ms. Thomas I thank you so much for being the best attorney I could ask for . Even when Tiffany would call she would always reassure Ms. Thomas is working so hard to help . You guys were truly a blessing in my story.

If you are looking for a custody expert you have found the right attorney. If I could give a higher rating I would. Kim helped me through a very emotional complex custody case and in the end got everything I asked for. She is caring and family oriented and always looks out for your child's best interests while maintaining an open line of communication for any questions or concerns. I truly can't recommend her enough. I am blessed to have found her.

Kimberly helped my mom and our family immensely. She fought first for full custody of a child I can now call my sister and then with adoption that was granted in January this year. You can't find a better family law attorney than Kim especially with cases that are atypical.

Update: Kim had the audacity to reach out to my attorney to request the removal of my wife’s review. Not because the review was untrue, because it was "bad for business." Kim was the GAL for my son. She was his voice. I encouraged him to trust her. I trusted her. She went against his wishes. It has hurt our entire family. Working with Kim was a terrible experience for our family. We opened our home to her. I allowed her to meet my wife and my stepsons. Kim continues to respond on reviews with a copy and paste comment claiming she was not involved with people on the negative reviews. I can share first hand that she was involved with two of the individual she left those responses to. My son is now at his mother's house majority of the time due to Kims poor recommendation. My son is devastated. Our entire family has suffered. We have a safe, stable, and loving home, that feels incomplete without my son. My son has asked to speak to a judge. He has asked us to record his voice. He has asked why Kim was not fired. He even said that Kim was manipulated by his mother and should not be a GAL. He doesn't understand why he trusted her, when she recommended exactly what she told us all would not happen. She recommended what his mom wanted, not what he wanted. Looking back I feel deep regret telling my son, my wife, and my step children to trust her. I would not recommend Kim as a GAL. She did not have my son's best interest when making her recommendation.
