I truly appreciate how easy it is to reach the office by phone. The staff is consistently helpful, kind, and professional. Communication has been excellent. As a new patient, I value the doctors’ thoroughness and attention to detail. However, I have been prescribed ADHD/controlled substance medication for most of my adult life, and continuing that treatment has been more challenging than expected. While I understand and respect the need for careful evaluation, this may be helpful for new patients transferring from other areas who are seeking continuity of care for established prescriptions.

I went to Family Medicine Associates for my annual wellness checkup, and the experience was excellent. From check-in to checkout, all the staff were friendly, professional, and welcoming. Dr. Sarah Hallbauer was wonderful — very knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. I especially appreciate that she was able to perform my Pap smear during the visit, which saved me the extra time and hassle of going to a separate OBGYN appointment. Overall, a very convenient and positive experience. I highly recommend this clinic for comprehensive and attentive care.

If there were more than 5 stars, I would rate this review so much more. For almost 2 years I had no medical insurance, because after I retired from my job, I lost my medical insurance. I finally went ahead and got myself some medical insurance in October of this year. I called member services to see what providers were in their network. They gave me a list of doctors to choose from, and I am so happy that I chose Family Medicine Associates of Conroe. I called them and set up an appointment with them, and when I stepped into their office for the first time, I felt so welcomed as a patient, as well as the warmth and compassion of the front desk receptionist and staff members there. The first thing that really tugged my heart and grabbed my attention were the biblical scriptures that they had at the check-in window and on their wall. I knew then that it was God's divine direction that led me to their office, because I'm a believer in Christ, and I felt God's presence and love as soon as I walked into that office and I saw the scriptures, as well as being welcomed by the staff with such sweet countenance. I have NEVER seen ANY biblical scriptures in a doctor's office before. They even have a scripture at their check-out window as well. My Dr. Shawna was the sweetest. Not one time did she rush me out of the exam room, she answered all of the many questions that I had, and showed great concern for my healthcare and well-being. The staff is so great about following up with the patients about their appointments, referrals, and healthcare. They are THE BEST doctor's office in Conroe! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Dr. Gregg Hallbauer and his staff! Keep up the great work!

Wow! I have finally found a doctor I believe I can trust. After so many years of being gas-lit, dismissed, and feeling unheard, Dr. Sarah Hallbauer has undone the mistrust I have developed. To start, the woman at the front desk was kind and helpful. The nurse was patient, caring, and attentive to my needs. Dr. Hallbauer listened, seemed compassionate, and thorough. I just had my 2nd visit and feel like I have found someone who cares. The wait time seemed appropriate (about 15 minutes). She did not make me feel rushed and answered all my questions. Since she listens, I suspect if they have a little delay in my appointment, it would be because they are listening. I am truly thankful.

First visit with Dr Sarah Hallbauer. Looking for new primary doctor and am comfortable that I have found her. She was thorough, professional and attentive. She even noticed something on my hand which I hadn’t. I’m sure my medical needs are in good hands.
