I'm beyond grateful for The Gauthier Law Firm/ Team. The attentiveness, professionalism and overall support was absolutely amazing. This was a journey and experience with so many ups and downs however I was always kept in the know of things and very appreciative of the timely follow ups and insight whenever I needed clarity. Meeting Ms. Gauthier in person was the cherry on top for me. I was nervous about how my case was going to turn out and she was prepared, down to earth and reassuring throughout the process. My case worked out in my favor and no words could describe that feeling fully in that moment. I highly recommend The Gauthier Law Firm to anyone in need of the legal services/representation they provide.

Please beware—save yourself the heartache, time, and money. Run, don’t walk. My experience with this firm was deeply disappointing and frustrating. From the moment the retainer fee was paid, the tone of the relationship shifted dramatically. What followed was a complete lack of empathy, poor communication, and a failure to provide even the most basic legal counsel. Despite repeated requests, I was never properly advised on the laws relevant to my case. Instead, I was met with vague responses and gaslighting whenever I asked for updates. Promises were made and never delivered. The only consistent thing was the billing—overcharged and unjustified. This was a straight-up money grab. Nearly $10,000 later, I was left with no resolution and had to finalize my case on my own. I genuinely don’t understand how professionals entrusted to serve the public can operate this way.

Words cannot express my gratitude. For me they are heaven sent. The way they have worked with me to bring me and my daughter the true justice we need and deserve is exhilarating. Glory to God our father for this amazing group. Forever in my heart grateful!

I wasn't able to get her help because I was in another state but she did give me some good advice on what I should do. She couldn't give me legal advice but she did point me in the right direction

Wish i could give this law firm a zero. Succeeded in walking away from an abusive marriage and ended up hiring an Attorney who seem determined to gaslight her clients. Consultation with Avia Gauthier was less than an hour and she was so quick to move forward with retainers fee, after retainer fee was paid communication seem to seize , Attorney Avia Gauthier suddenly became too busy to reach, she has been my Attorney from consultation going for mediation was when she assigned an associate Attorney and after mediation her associate Attorney resigned which i saw coming, a very DECENT lady can't see her working for Avia Gauthier law firm so i wasnt surprised getting an email saying she resigned. The only thing that was consistent was the excessive billing and the harassment of payment, i was nevet late on any payment or NEVER asked for discount and was NEVER given. I was getting reminder as early as 5am almost everyday even when the due date is in two weeks, I ONLY questioned the excessive billing and her response was defensive & dismissive saying she does not offer pro-bono which i found insulting especially to a client who had paid so much to her. She was asking why i was making inquiries about billing on google...considering i also found her on Google , i would have gotten a better Attorney if i had inquired from people around me, but didn't want anyone stop me from going ahead with the divorce . I took time to explain my case to her at consultation and she made me believe she could handle it little did I know she wasn't knowledgeable about my case, seeing how incompetent she was I decided to settle at mediation which she was clearly unhappy with because she was pushing for trial to get more money out of me, and that was when the gaslighting started. She held my settlement which she collected from the opposing counsel and was denying she never received it, I had to personally reach out to them and was told she received it over a month prior, only after exposing this she admitted receiving it. Lies, lies lies. Worse Attorney in the Dallas metroplex, she has a pattern of denying all allegations on her negative reviews however, everyone can't be lying. Do not waste your money. Stay away from this law firm.
