I'm currently going through a divorce and I have a disabled son the father is refusing to pay the child support and all I keep getting is the run around and I've paid him $6,000.00 already the child support was supposed to start since November 1st but there always seems to be an excuse and the issue hasn't gotten resolved‼️‼️‼️ It's been over a year and still no divorce....this whole situation has caused me nothing but stress and yet when I hired Richard R. Alamia I was led to believe he would help me every step of the way and would speak for me, but during mediation all he did was sit back in his office chair with his arms crossed and allow the mediator to belittle me and he had no one in the office to help him instead my daughter had to get up and try to figure out how to print out the documents so that I could sign them and leave but the "kicker" is that the mediator told Mr. Alamia to tell me to go drop off the printed documents to the opposing attorney that his office was just around the corner and I was like what?‼️‼️‼️‼️ That's not my job I'm going home it's late. It's mid month and still no child support‼️‼️ I honestly wouldn't recommend him to represent you in a divorce, this is my personal opinion from my experience, it's been almost 5 months and still no child support for my disabled son‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ 8/22/24 It will be a year on October 18, 2024 that I went into his office for mediation and almost almost a year later the mediation documents have not been signed by the judge, because the opposing attorney never signed the documents this is what was explained to me he just signed them. I feel like somewhere along the way someone dropped the ball!!!! Now I'm still waiting for the judge to sign the mediation documents‼️‼️‼️‼️ 9/27/24 Still no hearing for child support the judge has already signed the temporary orders to enforce the child support a month ago and still no hearing and no child support for my disabled son!!!!! 10/23/24 It's been 6 months and I'm still struggling to get the child support that was agreed upon mediation and it's been 2 months since the judge signed the temporary orders and no court date, no emergency hearing, I have to call the court to check on my case and ask questions myself cause I am the one with a disabled son!!!!! 12/22/24 I still don't have CHILD SUPPORT, on 12/19/24 I went to court again it was supposed to be the final hearing but all that was said by the judge is that Policarpio Garces had to pay $250.00 by the 20th of December of course it was by word of mouth only " the judge from the 275th" and Richard R. Alamia just stands there and asks no questions, I feel like he has dropped the ball one too many times and has even told me that he will dismiss himself from the case and I also got a call back in October 2023 from Mr. Richard Alamia asking me to remove my review cause it was hurting his business, he was more concerned about his business or so it seems!!!! 12/23/24 It's been 20 months of stress 😩 I don't understand what the purpose of mediation was on October 18, 2023 if the temporary orders were signed by all parties involved why was there no Motion for Contempt filed when the full child support payments stopped on May 1, 2024? But even more when the judge of the 275th signed the Temporary Orders on August 21, 2024 there was no Motion for Contempt filed on August 22, 2024 and because there was no Motion For Contempt filed I still continue to struggle, it's been a horrid experience for me a single mother of a disabled son, I feel like my attorney doesn't advocate for me as he should and when I've tried to question the "why no Motion For Contempt was ever filed until just recently the discussion gets heated" 1/08/2025 I called Richard R. Alamia today at 11:03 a.m. and asked him if he had any new information for me regarding the emails that I had emailed him and his response was "what do you mean" we're going to discuss it when you come in to my office tomorrow afternoon 🤔😳

I Highly recommend Mr Alamia. He is great lawyer and answers all your questions. My husband had another lawyer to represent him and wanted him to sign the 2 years they were offering him. My husband then hired Mr Alamia and he was able to dismiss his charges.

Mr. Alamia helped me with my divorce, was very detailed on the information I needed to provide to him to make the process better. He kept me informed every step of the way if any changes were made. Responded quickly when I had questions. Highly recommend

If I could give this man zero stars, I would.. Excuse my language but he’s a piece of s**t. He is a liar and took advantage of my ignorance. I’m a military personnel that went through a divorce and thought he’d have my best interest at heart, but it was all a façade. Even while I was at court telling him what I wanted, he continued to push all my concerns to the side AND did not bring them up. He didn’t care about me, I was just another paycheck to him. He will not take your personal calls and/or answer your emails. He does not have interpersonal tact or genuinely cares about you. You’re better off representing yourself than have this man "represent" you. He’s a disgrace to all lawyers and does not follow the Lawyer Code of Professional Responsibility.
