I had as pleasant of an experience as possible (given the circumstances of family court) working with these two fine lawyers. They were kind yet straight forward, personable, and very knowledgeable about the court and the law. They allowed me to feel comfortable and represented what I wanted and needed in my case while guiding me in a time of uncertainty. They always responded in a timely fashion, which was greatly appreciated and helped ease my stress and anxiety over what was to come. I would definitely recommend Arndt and Sutak for any family court matters as they are fantastic.

I am leaving a 2 star review because to be fair I found Jessica and Kristene to be knowledgeable, intelligent and personable. Kristene, especially, promptly answered e-mails (even though it wasn't always good news). However, once my divorce case progressed I found myself twisting in the wind. I expected my representation to be more aggressive in striving to get what I deserve and need to proceed with my post divorce life. I am living with a medical condition that can change suddenly and would require very expensive intervention. My drug therapy that I currently need is unbelievably costly. None of this was addressed at the recommendation of my attorney. Honestly I felt abandoned very shortly after I signed on with the firm. Jessica was unable or unwilling to think outside the box and deviate from standard protocol. After my ESP I felt violated by the panel conducting it and Jessica sat silently by and let it happen. I mean not a word was uttered. It was then that I realized that this attorney was just filling in the blanks in divorce documents. This is probably something even a non-attorney could do and save many thousands of dollars. My situation was unique, as many divorce cases are, but the indifference and apathy my case was given did not address that at all. My divorce case dragged on for a year with no communication in the last couple of months. When I finally inquired about the status lo and behold the very next day my case was finalized. Nice people? Yes. Knowledgeable in the law? Yes. But if you need a "pit bull" in your corner seek a different law firm.

Initially, I had a positive experience working with Jessica and her team. However, over time, her interest in my case and its priority seemed to wane. As we neared the time for a plenary hearing, things were mishandled, and I was left with no choice but to seek new counsel. This meant starting from scratch with a new firm, which required significant time and financial investment. Fortunately, my new firm was deeply committed to my case and ultimately helped me secure custody of my daughter—a goal Jessica had been actively discouraging me from pursuing, urging me to settle instead. To make matters worse, Jessica is still attempting to bill me for work she claims to have done during the time I had to find new representation. I do not recommend using her.

Jessica Arndt and her legal assistant, Kristene Coleman, have been nothing short of amazing throughout my legal process. Working with them was an absolute pleasure. From the very start, I felt fully prepared and supported, even before stepping into the courtroom. Although the defendant ultimately conceded, it was clear they had no plausible case thanks to Jessica’s expertise. Jessica is highly knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and incredibly kind, empathetic, and compassionate. She was always extremely prepared, and I was impressed when even the defendant’s attorney had to rely on Jessica’s notes due to their own lack of preparation. In the end, I obtained my final restraining order, and I truly believe Jessica’s professionalism made a significant difference. If you’re looking for a lawyer for domestic violence cases, I would highly recommend Jessica Arndt. She is clearly well-respected in the courtroom and an outstanding advocate.
