We hired Alyssa Jacobs and Eric Freeby for our private adoption. They were very extremely thorough and professional. They made sure our child’s birth mother had her own separate legal representation, a wonderful social worker, and counseling. Their communication was excellent and I found them to be very ethical which is hard to find in the world of adoption. I would highly recommend them!

I recently used Brown Pruitt to finalize the adoption of my son. I live in Chicago and they are in Houston, Texas. Every person I encountered at the firm was outstanding. The attorneys Eric Freeby and Alyssa Jacobs were very knowledgeable and extremely responsive. I also received great help from legal assistant Kelsey Ferrell. The adoption process takes around 6 months and there are many things to consider. This office professionally took care of all the paperwork and always kept me up to date. They attorneys knew I was eager to finalize the adoption so they ran into court on the first possible date to get the final decree signed. I never thought I would have to leave a review warning people about the likelihood of them getting scammed somewhere, but if you get Hannah to take your case your financials will be drained!!

We found them to be very efficient and when an issue came before the court about our case, the team at Brown Pruitt reacted swiftly and competently. The wills and estates team is first rate.

Hannah’s service was awful… Overall an unpleasant and unhelpful person… Disappointed.
