If you care about your children and your wellbeing as a family and as an individual NEVER agree to have Bonnie Saltzman appointed to your case. I believe she’s dangerous as she seems to take out her emotional issues on her clients at what is surely a vulnerable time in their lives. Queen of passive aggression. Inappropriately enmeshed and cruel- while also incredibly ineffective. I have hundreds of emails from Bonnie but curiously…..no bills from her. It was like she enjoyed messing up our entire family and escalating conflict so much she did it for free, as a game. Appointed advocates have no business playing games with clients lives and futures. BE AWARE and do not use her.

I’m writing this review because I have a friend who’s going through a divorce and I recommended Bonnie, so I was thinking about her. Bonnie was the best attorney that I ever had, and I went through a lot when I had my divorce years ago. I thought about her today and looked her up online and saw some bad reviews so I wanted to go ahead and write this review. She was very fair with me, smart, honest and very reasonably priced. She’s just plain good at what she does. I’m not sure why she has bad reviews but I had three other attorneys who basically stole my money and did nothing and BonnIe is the only one who helped me and I would always recommend her. I found Bonnie to be proactive, which is a wonderful change from my past attorneys; she is very driven, listens, and is super efficient. If you have questions I suggest you meet with her before basing your decision off of bad reviews on this site. You never know if what motivates people to write bad reviews. The only thing I have to gain is helping someone else out if I can. Divorce is so hard and not having a good attorney can mean years of pain. My current husband had a terrible attorney and it cost us time with the children and a lot of money. I had a very different experience from one person who posted a negative review. Bonnie certainly served me well! I haven’t seen her in many years but I still remember and am thankful I found her.

I’d like to edit! Imagine finding out the babysitters you were dropping your children off to were abusive! Amazing what comes out when the children are older. Our son/step son was thrown down a flight of stairs by the husband of his babysitter, that we had to drop him off to?and the other babysitter did/ does a bunch of drugs and let us in the house. The stories coming out at how abused these kids were at moms. Yet she said (when she actually showed up) was the kids are safe at both houses! She is paid off easily. If the person your are fighting is adamant about her being your CFI fight it as hard as you can. She misses very important court dates on purpose. She will make sure you fail for her benefit, not the benefit of the child. She broke laws interrogating the kids at school with dad not present. Illegal, by the way. Had an entire steak dinner at mom’s house, but couldn’t stay 5 minutes at ours bc the kids had karate and dance.If she could only see what is going on to this day from her cases she should be disgusted. I should add now that the kids are old enough, they have now told us about the abuse their babysitters did to them at there moms house where we would have to drop them off.

Bonnies was the children's advocate in my custody case. Bonnie disregarded what my kids shared with her in private one on one questioning. The whole point of the private questioning is for the children to feel safe telling their story and experience. Bonnie flat out stated that she thought my daughter was lieing and exaggerated her story. I can jot believe as the person who is supposed to be advocating for the children she would be so irresponsible putting my children in danger. It cannot be overstated how poor her judgement was and the disservice she did my children literally putting them in danger. I only wish I could have had someone warn me of her prior to me agreeing to have her involved. I was naive thinking the lawyer's, judge and Bonnie had my children's best interest in mind. Please do your research and make a informed decision when deciding who to trust that will fight for what is right and has the knowledge and skills to best help children. I would say especially for the men Stay away from Bonnie! She has a agenda and your children's well being is not part of that agenda in my opinion.

Is very rude and judgmental, doesn't believe at work that you are telling herb even with the information staring home right in the face goes behind your back and convinces your child do you think that they normally wouldn't they think that they normally wouldn't. Lies repeatedly and when you call her out on it she pretend to give you what you asked for and then turned around and takes it back. Does do anything to see that parent child relationship get better does everything she can to ensure that she gets her money's Worth all the while and stirring the parent child relationship is more or less destroyed. Which is involved they already horrible situation escalated

Bonnie is very unprofessional and horrible at communicating. She is supposed to be a decision maker and help with communication between parents, but can’t even communicate with her own clients. I paid to have her for a year and she has only made one formal decision. That decision alone took her 5 months to make and several pestering emails. I have continually tried to contact her and have heard nothing back. I am extremely disappointed and would recommend not using her.

Bonnie was the CFI together with ACDHS gave false information about FOC's sobriety in court (perjury) 2016-17. We learned the correct lack of sobriety info at FOC's probation revocation hearing 2 weeks after the final court date. The child was abused and neglected for 3 years solid in the alcoholic's house that Bonnie and ACDHS perjured for. Court doc's show that Bonnie received text 2022 from Robin Niceta about Robins false child abuse report.
