Had a closing August 28th of last year 2024. Communication was under par, and found the professionalism lacking. As the closing was quick and fast, it always isn’t a good thing. Clients should be walked through carefully when signing legal documents. Moving forward, we have had issue with the purchase of said property from day one. We reached out to the closing attorney and staff multiple times. To no avail, no one would call us back. It’s now June 2025. Why couldn’t someone say, we do not litigate residential property only commercial. Why would they say, we will pull the file, have the attorney review it, and we will call you back. I finally showed up in person. The attorney said he doesn't do litigation. Good grief…. You see, the sellers lied on the disclosures, which in the state of Mississippi is a no no, not like Alabama where it is a no fault or as is state. Mississippi takes this serious. Our house has been flooding since day 1. Yes say one. We’ve been recording/making video this whole time. As for further documentation, the city had to come in 2 years ago and fix drainage issues within the neighborhood because of drainage issues, severe drainage issues. The neighbors all down our street suffer from drainage issues. The sellers on the disclosures checked the box saying no issues in regard to flooding or drainage. Really? If we would had been given full disclosure of the flooding and drainage issue we would had asked for it to be fixed as a contingency to close on the property, or we wouldn’t had purchased the home knowing of the issue. We were not given the facts, and the sellers lied. I realize this is not the closing attorneys fault, but we’ve been trying to seek litigation, representation, and this closing office dropped the ball with communication, or any type of help. Just silence, just ignoring this situation, and ignoring us. Now that I know they won’t help, I can seek help elsewhere in regard to purchasing a home under false pretenses. I can only hope this office can learn to communicate, and to disclose proper information in the future.

Mr Orgler is not professional at all, we where in the room signing papers and my wife got up to use rest room. On her way back he stopped her and got her to do a shot of whiskey in the break room. No one else was asked. Very disrespectful to everyone waiting on him. Talked to my realtor about this and he was surprised. Didn’t much appreciate him blowing kiss to my wife as we where leaving. Not very happy that he would disrespect me like that.

One star is honestly being generous. My husband and I are a military family who were buying a home on the coast. Due to covid and military travel restrictions, my husband was going to be unable to attend the closing so it was arranged by SOJ, the seller’s representative, and my realtor for me to go to the closing at 10 am in order to pick up the keys and that my husband would overnight the documents. I arrived on time and was informed that they did not see me on the schedule but I told her I had an email to confirm. The woman at the front desk was extremely kind and professional and said she would find out more. The next thing I know, a woman who looked unkempt and unprofessional comes and stands in her doorway and raises her voice across the room saying I had no right or reason to be there and was so rude and hateful. I insisted that I had email correspondence saying that I would be there and that my husband also had a few questions about where to sign on the 150 page legal document he received (without tabs etc to notate where to sign or initial) because he wanted to make sure he didn’t miss any places before overnighting it as arranged. She said that that was not her problem and insisted again that I had no reason to be there in the absolute most hateful tone. She honestly spoke to me as if I was a dog. I called my realtor who was on his way and he said that he had confirmed with Ashley who was in our email thread and when I said that she said she was Ashley and continued to be downright disrespectful. I mentioned that my husband is a military service member and that’s why he couldn’t be here and she said "again, not my problem". I have never EVER in my life witnessed such blatant disrespect for someone who serves this country and it was absolutely vile. The woman at the front desk who was actually professional put us in a room and was able to get an attorney to come in and handle the situation but when I brought up what had happened, his response was that she was "stressed". I feel that that is not an excuse to absolutely mortify a client that you are getting paid to do business with. The whole situation was mortifying and I hope that she is disciplined for her poor behavior so that she can not bully anyone else in the future. I highly recommend looking elsewhere to do business.

I find their attorney rudest person I ever met wanted to opt out of act of sale because of their lies. He held my cashier check ranson, seller did not even show up at act of sale. He would not give my check back, made me buy property with active termites. Martha Taylor my agent also a snake.
