I’m very thankful for the support and guidance I’ve received from this law firm during my divorce. My attorney has been professional, responsive, and made sure I understood everything throughout the process. This has been a difficult time, and having someone knowledgeable and dependable on my side has meant a lot. I truly appreciate the work they’ve done for me.

Choosing the Eaton Family Law Firm was one of the best decisions I made during my custody and child support case. They were supportive, honest, and truly cared about my situation. The team kept me informed, advocated strongly on my behalf, and helped me feel confident during a very emotional time. Their guidance made all the difference, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing family law representation.

I have never hired this firm, and neither has my spouse. I’m writing this review solely to share my personal opinion about attorney Barbara Stalder being affiliated with the firm. Barbara Stalder previously represented my spouse (before her association with this firm), and based on what I observed from the outside and what I’ve heard repeatedly from others in the local legal community, I would not recommend her involvement in any family-law matter where de-escalation and practical resolution are the goals. In my opinion, her style invites unnecessary conflict, expands the scope of disputes, and drives costs up while making a difficult situation worse for everyone involved. If you want efficient, settlement-minded representation, I’d suggest choosing a firm that prioritizes problem-solving over escalation.

My personal experience with The Eaton Law Firm has been, without exaggeration, the worst professional experience I have ever had. Despite paying over $ 6000, my divorce case made no real progress for months. Throughout the time I worked with this firm: * My emails and phone calls were rarely answered. * I repeatedly asked for updates and information about my case, yet I was never given clear or consistent information. * The attorney handling my case told me to contact the owner of the firm to understand why they kept requesting additional payments. * When I emailed the owner, his response was that he would only speak with me if I paid more money, something I consider completely inappropriate and unlike anything I’ve experienced with any other legal professional. The way I was treated by the staff—including the owner—felt unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable, especially considering the amount of money I had already paid and the total lack of results. And the worst part happened at the end:
When I informed the firm that I was terminating their services, asked them to stop making charges, and requested the refund of the remaining balance in my account, they ignored my request. Based on my own experience: * At the moment I asked them to stop and close my case, there were over $600 in my account with them. * Even after my clear request, they continued spending from my account without my authorization. * In the end, they told me they would only refund $43. After this frustrating and expensive experience, I switched to a different attorney. The new attorney resolved everything that was pending in just two weeks, which clearly showed me that my case was not complicated and that the time and money I invested in The Eaton Law Firm did not reflect any meaningful progress. Based solely on my personal experience, I do not recommend The Eaton Law Firm. What I experienced was poor communication, disrespect, continuous charges without results, and a process that, in my opinion, was unnecessarily prolonged.

I definitely do not recommend. The communication is absolutely terrible. I would go weeks with no updates and asking quest got me no where. Much of my issues were never resolved or at least I was never told about them. A simple ITIO turned into a nightmare with very little help if any from this firm. All they seem to care about is getting their money from you.

I hired Eaton Law Firm in August 2024 for what was presented as an emergency custody filing. I paid $3,500 upfront on the initial consultation with Travis and was assured the order would be filed immediately within 24–48 hours. However, nothing was ever filed. After repeated follow-ups, I terminated representation two days later. I received a partial refund, but no filings were ever made, which forced me to restart the process at my own cost and with significant delay. The lack of communication and follow-through was disappointing. Potential clients should be cautious and confirm filings are actually completed.

Absolute horror show. My bank account was charged after I told Travis to not charge it and I will find alternate ways to pay. I was never notified when my trust was low, I was just charged. Travis charging me caused my pending mortgage to get rejected due to insufficient funds. Then he refused my calls and dropped me when I threatened to report him to the state bar association. Travis is a coward and a shady lawyer. I will be reporting him to the state bar association.
