Dealing with the court system in our recent custody case was eye opening. In my opinion, it is an environment of overworked case workers and an overloaded case load for the courts. In a lot of respects, it was a 15 month roller coaster ride. Optimism, disappointment, and a variety of other emotions. We soon learned that there was one constant...and that was Serena Hawkins. Serena made herself available whenever we had a question or concern. In every conversation, she showed a genuine concern for my grandson. Serena is one if the most accomplished, patient and professional individuals that I have ever had the pleasure to deal with.

The experience my family and I had with Serena was great! She is very professional and is very passionate when it comes to making sure children receive the best opportunities possible. Serena made it her duty to make sure our child received the best possible outcome from a really unfortunate situation. She is the voice for many children who are unable to speak on their own behalf! We appreciate everything you have done for our family!

There was no signs pointing direction to her office. Outside needs redone. Security let me walk all way through before asking me at end where I was going. I was on time for my appointment the lawyer wasn't. Nobody was at front desk had to ring door bell to have someone come up to talk. After having conversations with her I felt pushed out office because I was giving a side to story she didn't care to hear. She has tooken my visitation away with my children due to uncle's past who would only one help us. During court she spoke for children who she spoke to 1 and only 30mins. Was told I was bad because I yelled by my child no abuse. Gave father temporary custody due to false accusations. Father was involved with his seeing then one being accused. She states that my son says my dad says his great uncle was bad. To me that is coached. Mind u father paid and asked for lawyer during drawn out battle. Over children who were happy healthy and safe. My understanding is due to not wanting to pay child support since name calling from him. So I pray as mother I've been herd and trying to fight for my kids that I've tooken care of for 16 years. Abuse from co-parenting shouldn't be tooken.
