I never got a chance to talk much with the receptionist. She was mean, curt, rude, and simply totally unprofessional. After asking me how long it has been since the company terminated me, she immediately told me they could not represent me without any details or explanation. If she had taken the time to continue listening, she would have realized that I met the deadline of filing. I asked her why they don't take any cases like mine, she told me extremely snobbishly, "I just know this is a case they will not represent." She immediately hung up the phone without saying one word, not even a bye. I understand if you're not going to represent me, but could she had told me why or even said she was sorry? And since she refused to explain to me why, could she have at least been more professional with better phone mannerisms?🤔 I couldn't believe my ears. I never ever experienced that from any lawyer's office my entire life. And I'm 57. I don't know why she did what she did as a receptionist, but I hope it's not because she detected by voice and concluded that she was talking with a Black man. I'm not sure, but my vibes, first thoughts, and gut feelings tell me that was the reason. And my first thoughts are not too often wrong. I just never experienced such from any attorney's office, small or big firms. I have already made sure I will never entertain the thought of reaching out to Duhon Law Firm, even if they're the last lawyer on earth and I'm facing the worst of whatever the scenario may be.🤨

Used this place once a few years back looking him up again. First visit he was momentarily busy i believe I had just walked in, secretary was so friendly offered me water, pointed me to restroom, told me about the business , Duhon was very professional spent enough time with me. No problems.
