Peirce Smallwood! Please don't ever let him represent you for even a speeding ticket! He's terrible. They assigned him to my G-Grandaughter's custody case, and she was lost to the petitioners because he doesn't have a clue what he is doing! But it isn't all his fault, its the legal aid office to, they know they're not equipped to handle a case as important as this one is. He's young and incompetent, and Her mother lost her because of him.he literally acted like he was scared to ask a question or even talk. Him and this legal aid company are pathetic!
So kind & helpful, truly a Blessing! Thank y'all for all your hard work & dedication! God Bless each& everyone of ya ❤️
Who ever is donating to this organization is wasting their money. I’ve applied for their help on several occasions and not ones have they assisted whatsoever. They supposed to assist the less fortunate and be a voice for those whose voice isn’t given a time of day to be heard. I have been extremely violated by police officers and I guess because I’m white it doesn’t matter. I called over 100 attorneys and not 1 will assist me. I even have it on video. This organization is must just be pocketing the donations beacause I’ve not heard of anyone they have helped.
Ok folks, it’s better if you’re seated because "have I got a story for you"! I’m going to try and keep this to a minimum as it started in August of 2023 and is still ongoing. A dear friend of my girlfriend and I died tragically in an auto accident on July 26, 2023. He was 29 years old and had inherited a 180 acre farm with a home and 2 barns of which one is rented out to a neighbor. We had moved onto the property in Dec. 2023 and in Jan. 2023 we signed a 2 year lease sharing the home and staying on our bus mostly at nights. So we spent most of our time inside the home and working around the property throughout the days but never an employment situation. All utilities are included and we paid rent in cash, in hand to Nelson on or around the first of the month. On July 27, 2023 his mother shows up with people in 3 separate vehicles and she is screaming, verbally attacking the best friend of her son to the point that the man was falling down exhausted from his grieving tears and shrieking. I asked her to stop and her words to me "you and you, I was going to be nice" I replied you call that being nice. Next it was pack your bus up and hit the road so I argued our lease and I have next month’s rent on me. She didn’t care and later that early afternoon she was escorted off the property by the police. The girlfriend of the deceased was in shock and inside wanting to be left alone to process everything, she never stepped outside during this nor the rest of that day. Now the legal battle begins and we desperately need an attorney to help us through this situation. Money was the biggest issue for us so we sought out Legal Aid of Bluegrass for their help. Jared of Bluegrass assigned Preston to our case and the battle was beginning to look like a lost cause but we stood our ground as the slander and threats worsened. I have to say that when I saw Preston in action he was on point, clearly stated his argument as the Plaintiffs attorney seemed to be frazzled by Preston’s knowledge of the URULTA Act and how we fell under it… Case was dismissed and Preston said they’re not done, boy was he right. Next was another "Forceable Detainer" to make us leave immediately arguing that we did not fall under the protection of the URULTA Act. We appeared and each side made its case, Preston was on point, asked the right questions and the Judge asked the two attorneys to submit a "summary" for their argument by the following Weds. and she would review it, then make her decision. After six weeks or so the Plaintiffs Attorney pretty much demanded an answer form the court and off we go again. The judge ruled that we are indeed covered under the Act and once again dismissed their case. Since that time the Plaintiff has showed up whenever she wants and takes belongings of ours while the police now consider this a "nuisance call" and won’t even take a report when called out. A mutual person had let me read a text from that woman and she wrote "they got Bluegrass, lol, we got this for sure"… Preston and all involved within that circle are more than qualified for these types of legal issues. So what do I think of Legal Aid of Bluegrass? They really twisted up a very expensive Legal Firm and won, for us! They Rock it! Want me to make a woman disappear in front of your eyes? Presto! Whoosh legal problems gone… Bahahaha
I wish I had been able to have kept Spencer or gotten Catherine.. I'm truly disappointed in Patrick everything he said was completely different and in a divorce case that's still not over I wish I had not been bombarded in mediation other day...no preparation just going in there knowing nothing.. I want another attorney to end this mess. Madison was wonderful too....I just wish I didn't get patrick... I felt like he was more on their side
They helped me out a lot they're very helpful in every way and are helping me to get my divorce taken care of completely free of charge. Other than having to wait on hold forever when you first called them that is the only complaint that I've got.
