My family had to submit a petition to partition property in NH when an opportunistic co-owner tried to roadblock the sale of the home. Attorney John Deachman did a fantastic job drafting & submitting the lawsuit to probate court. He also managed all communication with both parties clearly & effectively. We ended up not having to go to court & was able to strong-arm the co-owner into signing his interest over to my family because he did not want to deal with the possible consequences Atty Deachman laid out in the petition. I hired Attorney Marc Van Zanten to evict my tenant. He took the case, evicted the tenant. the cost was less then 1/4 of the rent in this case a little about my self, I have been a landlord for 25 plus years, 3 buildings 14 units, I have evicted 60 plus tenant's in the Merrimack court over the years. I was looking for information on a legal matter...5 seconds after my inquiry at 9:30 in the evening I received a call from attorney Amann. After a brief conversation in which I provided him with all the facts of the case and agreed to send him the case file. After two weeks I called him to arrange a consultation...he still hadn't even looked at my file. Another week goes by and I have to leave him a voicemail about a consultation...he returned a very rude reply stating he couldn't work for free and before he would schedule an appointment I would have to see his paralegal and pay a fee for a consultation...never has any attorney required me for a fee before...a consultation is for me to interview him to make sure he is the right man for the case. So to end let me state that William Amann is the poster boy for so many lawyer jokes. Rude unprofessional and arrogant...I wouldn't hire him to shine my shoes.
