He has experience, but if he decides he does not want to show up for you then you are out of luck. I ended up asking the judge for another lawyer (aka I fired him) because of his unprofessionalism and abusive behavior (his explanation at the hearing was really slick but untrue). I cannot recommend him!

Incompetent lawyer, did not defend my husband at all, worthless, my five year old could have defended him better. Office never answers their phone. Promises to defend you, but doesn't deliver when you are pleading for your freedom. Ridiculous
