Just called to set an appointment, she charges $400 for a consultation just to "see" if she can even do anything. No thanks, already not confident that she can help me. I would pay anything to get this resolved but that much money doesn't gain my trust that she would honestly do anything, why would she, she already makes bank without actually having to do anything. Mind you I've had to deal with other attorneys for many different reasons and this is the highest consultation fee I've ever encountered. If it was to retain her ok but just a consult. No way.

Michelle Turpin P.C. was the only tax firm I could find that didn't require at least a $2000 upfront retainer. My tax issue was confusing and I needed help but, it didn't justify retaining a lawyer to represent me. I was able to pay a $400 consultation fee and get all the advice I needed to understand my issue and be able to solve it on my own. Very helpful and worth every penny.
