⭐ 1 Star (Would give 0 if possible) I had a consultation with Kevin, and I left feeling disappointed. I already know I owe a large amount of support, arrears, and interest — I didn’t need someone to repeat to me what’s written in my order. I was looking for legal guidance and strategy — advice on what steps I could take to move forward — but instead I got a basic recap of information I already knew. When I asked for help with how to present my case to my ex-wife, I was told "I don’t know what to tell her because I don’t know her." I wasn’t asking for a personal message tailored to her, just an example or suggestion for how to start the conversation. I was also told that this situation would "follow me for the rest of my life" and that I was "basically screwed," which felt discouraging rather than helpful. The main advice was to come to an agreement with my ex and contact CSS for a repayment plan — again, something anyone could figure out on their own. When I asked about custody modification, I was told I could file at the clerk’s office myself or pay them to do it — but there was no deeper discussion or strategy offered. The consultation lasted about 15 minutes, yet I was charged for a full 30 minutes. I walked away feeling like my concerns weren’t taken seriously and like there was no real interest in taking on my case or helping me move forward. I’m not looking for a miracle, just an attorney who can advise, strategize, and help me make progress so I can get on the right path. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this firm — at least not Kevin.

There isn’t enough ways to express my thanks to this incredible woman!!! She has become my hero!!! I thought I was going to literally lose my mind, trying to prepare for my Divorce from my ex. I want to start off by saying that Lindsey and her staff are step above the rest. They always respond quickly with detailed and informative information. They also explain it in terms that are understandable and transparent. Lindsey was- from start to finish- such a relief and support to my during custody mediation last year. From the very first consultation, she was honest with me about the likely steps in the process and even provided me an accurate timeline for how long it would take to resolve my custody issue. She has a direct, calm, measured demeanor and seems unflappable. This is exactly what you want from a lawyer during one of the most stressful things you can go through. She level-set my expectations while also providing me with an ear to listen as needed, via email, zoom, or phone call (these are scheduled as part of the process but when mediation did not go as planned, she debriefed with me and helped me understand what was to come. My case was a long-distance custody situation: my son and I have lived outside of stanislaus county for years and that makes filing paperwork, paying fees etc, more difficult.
