Chris Kellogg at stange law took my custody case basically last minute after being Pro Se. I could feel upon meeting him the first time he really cared about my son, my case, and fairness. He listened to my case in entirety, drove about 3 hours for my hearing. I was very impressed with the amount of research he did in his short amount of time, billing has been very clear. Before my hearing he explained potential outcomes and then what he was hoping the outcome would be; He was spot on. I can’t thank him enough for taking pride in his work, representing my son and I in a dire time of need. Thank you again, sincerely.

I contacted the law firm concerning a past issue I was having trouble with so they were aware of the issue and could step in, in case I needed it. Fortunately, I was able to resolve the issue my self, so I emailed the firm stating not to move forward with anything. They moved forward, even after I told them not to and then proceeded to charged my credit card, that I am now paying monthly fees for the balance they still have not refunded - they should not have charged in the first place. Dealing with these people is a nightmare. Their client care and communications are atrocious but oh-yeh, they are more than happy to take your money. I recommend you find someone else that is more attentive to "YOUR" needs.

Stay away from Stange law firm and Tina Cox scammed over $20,000 from me. Never responses to emails or phone calls. No court dates after pawning me off to other attorneys within the firm. Charging my card every few days for no services rendered had to fire this firm after a year and a half of dragging out a divorce for her financial benefit. RUN. RUN. RUN

This law firm burned through the majority of my retainer before the attorney withdrew from my case after not being able to accomplish ANYTHING. I was billed for his "research" (Google searches with screenshots he literally added to my case tracker to support the bills) for info I could find myself, and that wasn't useful as what I was told to ask for still wasn't offered. The state of Missouri should be cited for a violation of process to even require that an attorney obtain a form 17 they won't release to self-represented litigants. It is one single sheet of paper that needed to be filed to move a custody matter from one state to another that can "only be obtained through a lawyer." The attorney billed me for everything from his mistaken information on the version of the original custody order from the issuing state, to useless google searches, and for every email sent or received discussing how his efforts were not accomplishing this FIRST STEP to having the jurisidiction changed to address my case. He billed the majority of my retainer before he finally withdrew himself. I had the support of a local church to help pay, and on one call he actually suggested I just "could ask your church for more money." This type of treatment is why the majority of Americans have a deep Seated distrust for lawyers and our legal justice system. I was assigned a "team leader" attorney, Dakota Brit. If this is what their leadership looks like, I wouldn't dare return to hire someone under his guidance. In spite of the relationship being terminated, and no further pssible change in case that would warrant future bills from the firm, I was still advised up to 8 weeks to receive any refund of my trust balance though I'll incur additional out of pocket fees and losses related to now handling my own case myself in a more timely fashion. Prayers that anyone dealing with this will attempt to get Form 17 themselves and go through self help centers depending on jurisdiction to try to do this yourself. This was a disappointing experience, especially as a single mother also in school pursuing a law degree.

Update: No response from customer care in a week ... Stange Law firm and my attorney charged me $30K for little representation, was not prepared for mediation, poor communication from para and attorney (like when my divorce was final), and now, fighting to get my retainer back (still not after 90 days). Called Customer care, but had to lvm. Avoid, and go somewhere else ...

I was involved in a difficult divorce and have never been involved in the legal system to the extent this divorce took me through. Attorney Tina Cox was a God send to me and provided me with continual support and assistance. Attorney Tina Cox kept me informed throughout the divorce process and was always there to answer any questions that I had. Attorney Tina Cox is very knowledgeable about legal matters and explained the legal process in terminology that I could understand. Attorney Tina Cox makes you feel like a priority even though she has other cases. At no time did I ever feel that Attorney Tina Cox was not available to me or working in my best interest. Hopefully, I will never have to go through another divorce, but if I did I would definitely use Attorney Tina Cox. I would highly recommend Attorney Tina Cox to my family and friends. I was in need of a Kansas attorney for an emergent and complex matter regarding custody of my children. After googling attorneys, I gave Stange a call, and I scheduled a next-day consult. I was placed with Isaac Graham. I was originally supposed to meet with a partner of the firm, but Isaac was available to work my case ASAP, which was essential. Upon meeting with him, although he was a younger and newer attorney, I was confident in Isaac, as he was extremely quick to understand the complexity of my case, he passionately was involved, and he emphatically listened. He got after it and worked tirelessly on my case, and after a few weeks, we were able to obtain a successful result amid difficult circumstances. I’m truly grateful for the efforts of Mr. Graham, as he was an integral part of me getting my children back. In addition, although Stange bills line by line for services via invoice, he was more than reasonable and fair throughout the entirety of the case.
