We've used Sutton Law for counsel on several legal issues over the past few years and would highly recommend them. Nate is knowledgable, thorough, and efficient. He's quick with legal advice thru complicated issues and has provided great solutions. I do Not recommend Sutton Law Office in OP, KS. I created a Living Trust 12 years ago and wanted to make a small amendment to the doc. I was told that reviews for the Living Trust were free. However, Nate said (and this could only come from a lawyer) "yeah, we review it for free but if we actually change any wording it will cost $1800." I was gobsmacked. Not $100 or $300 for the actual 10 minutes it would take to change the wording; no sir, $1,800!! I then asked Google/AI to see if I can make this change myself and have my bank as notary, and yeah, no problem in KS or MO. Legally binding. Did Nate offer this an option before me leaving his office, no way. BTW: Avg hourly estate planning fee in OP, KS is $200-$400 depending on complexity. But Nate wants to charge more than 4xs the high average just to make a simple addendum. 1/6/26
