I hired the Law Offices of John C. Bigler for my case. They did ultimately win — but the experience was frustrating and unnecessarily expensive. Throughout the process, I repeatedly asked if we could try to negotiate early to avoid going to court. Every time, I was dismissed or brushed off. Instead, we ended up negotiating right before seeing the judge — often minutes before court proceedings — after already incurring all the costs of preparing for court. This happened more than once, and every time I was left wondering why we couldn’t have handled it earlier when I had specifically asked for it. Communication overall made me feel more anxious and unsupported. Basic questions were treated like an inconvenience, and while I technically had a lawyer, I didn’t feel like I had an advocate. Because they won, I could recommend them — but based on how they handled the process, how often they dismissed reasonable requests, and how much extra cost and stress that caused, I just can’t. Winning a case shouldn't come at the expense of feeling unheard and drained.
