Anderson Keuscher Brachmann

It was my first time experiencing family court - I was nervous and emotional, to say the least. After interviewing two lawyers, I chose to hire John Keuscher based on his calm, kind and transparent demeanor. He was informative, professional, supportive and understanding. John and Tony are the kind of men that go above and beyond for their clients. I am so grateful for them both and everything they did to help with my case. If you want to be treated like a human, not a dollar sign - I highly recommend hiring John Keuscher for your family court needs!

Im not sure why my review disappeared since I posted it last October of 2024. Thankfully, I still have a copy in my email, so I’m posting it here again. John has been my lawyer for at least a year now assisting with my stressful divorce. He is an honest lawyer who won't act on a request simply because you ask; if he believes it’s not the right or fair course of action, he will not proceed. He fights for what’s best and just for his clients, especially when children are involved. Although I wasn't 100 percent satisfied with the outcome of my divorce and custody battle. As he mentioned in every litigation, you can’t get everything you want. I trust that John’s expertise and understanding of the judge led to a fair result. He doesn't just do what you want to charge you more or unnecessary; he adheres to the law and ensures that actions are fair. I recently hired John again for a motion that my ex and I couldn’t agree on. I chose him because I know he will act in the best interest of me and my children. John is not the type of lawyer who will simply charge you for actions without sufficient evidence or necessity. Unlike some lawyers who will do anything for a fee, John maintains a high standard of integrity and only pursues actions that are supported by adequate evidence and proof.

John and Tony have been absolutely incredible to work with. John is personable, empathetic, highly knowledgeable, and always responsive. Throughout my time working with John and Tony, I never once doubted the direction we were heading — every step of the process clearly and thoroughly explained. The support and dedication from the entire team at Anderson Keuscher Brachmann has truly made all the difference during this chapter of my life.

What a nice little law office. It’s pretty low-key, with a decent location. I was able to park right out front of the office on Plumas Street. I had an appointment to go in and sign some papers to finalize a difficult legal situation. It’s usually not pleasant when you have to visit a attorney, at least until you can perhaps resolve a situation and move onto something better. Anyway, I spoke to the office manager, Tony, and he made me feel very comfortable in the office, even where I was on the opposing side of a process. Even so, he was very polite and professional, even though it was a stressful situation. This can often be common when you have to go to the lawyer’s office. The legal situation in Washoe County leaves a lot to be desired. People who are un represented often lose their rights because of their inability to pay for representation by professional lawyers. The courts in Washoe County, unfortunately, do not show much mercy for those who are unable to afford full-time representation from attorneys. The pro bono, lawyers, who I applaud them for their sacrifice, can only offer limited advice and support. The biggest problem with the pro bono attorneys is that they are so overworked and understaffed they cannot keep up with the demand for the clients that are in the worst situations. The law is biased towards the rich. It’s a fact, and don’t let anyone try to convince me otherwise. I’ve been there, done that. Nevertheless, in spite of my soapbox speech, I sat down in this office to sign papers, and when I discovered errors, I brought them up to the office manager, Tony. He really knows his stuff, and he took the time to look things over and make phone calls to correct the situation. Nothing in this world is perfect! I’m not criticizing or complaining because those errors were fixed by the time the paperwork was filed. Even though I was in opposition to this attorney‘s client, I gave them a five star rating because of their professionalism and their great office decorations! OK, just kidding, but the place did look nice. Good job you guys, keep up the good work, and don’t forget the little guy, everyone deserves equal representation under the law, yeah, right!

I cannot recommend John enough for how diligent and easy it was to work with him. I purposely sought out Anderson Keuscher Brachmann. As my case had potential of having the tribe involved. Going into this I had no idea what grounds they would have and how it would affect my case. John was very knowledgeable and very calm when explaining everything to me. His diligence in making sure every base was covered was highly impressive. He was very thorough to the point even the judge commended him on how effortlessly easy he made this process. I highly recommend their law office they are so professional and easy to work with.

I will never be able to fully express how grateful I am for John Keuscher! I would not be where I am today without his help! I will forever be thankful for getting referred to him. He has helped me over the last 4 1/2 years going through custody and court having to battle and defend every little thing. He has always been compassionate, patient, organized and prompt. He stays calm and helps calm the situation even when emotions are high. He answers emails and phone calls quickly, always making you feel like you are his top priority. He is always reasonable and does what is fair for the children involved. The office staff always shows empathy and so easy to work with! The list of qualities of this firm are endless! John Keuscher has been a great blessing to me as my attorney. It has been a stressful and emotional child custody battle and John has undoubtedly made things easier for me. He and his staff have helped me to understand processes and given direction on procedures. He has handled my case with great knowledge and professionalism.
