We hired Cory May 2025 for help on collecting back Child Support. It was a bit of a slow start, but this was also a new process for me so there was quite a bit I didn’t understand. I emailed Cory with what I was needing from him and things improved and progressed from there. Ultimately, we were granted the back child support. I also wanted to collect on extracurricular activities, insurance, and attorney fees which meant we needed to provide additional information for this so we had to have a separate court date for that portion. The other party didn’t attend court, so I won by default. I was awarded the majority of what I asked for. So, it worked out.
Cory does a phenomenal job. He really knows his stuff. I have a very complex case spanning many states that I went to many attorney's about. None of the other attorney's were knowledgeable enough to make the case work but Cory never drops a beat. He knows what to do and how to do it. He is always kind and respectful but when we went to court he was beast interviewing the hostile witness. It was amazing to watch him just come alive. Looking at these other reviews: Like any lawyer, he can't win if your not doing what you need to be doing. I do everything the law requires of me and Cory follows through for us. We win because both Cory and I are in the right. I think it is wrong to review Cory based on winning if you aren't doing your part as a client.
Does NOT represent his clients. Cory does not represent his clients, he represents the courts, does not listen to his clients, and takes his client's money without giving any accounting. I didn't receive a single bill from Cory of my retainer balance until I told him I was firing him. At that point not only had he burned through my retainer but had spent $3K more of my money AND told me he would have required an additional $4K if my case had gone to trial. I tired him to represent me in trial and told him opposing counsel would run up my bill, and he let opposing counsel spend my money. Cory withheld pertinent information from me regarding my settlement, because of that there are additional $1K in unexpected fees I am now responsible for. I had to BEG him to call or email me about my case and he wouldn't. He'd go on vacation without any notice leaving me having to try to figure things out without any assistance. I knew within a month or so of hiring him that he was not the best attorney to represent me, however, due to deadlines in my case I could not look for and hire another attorney, and he knew that. He worked out a Stipulation in my case which from an hour after it was read into court record in front of the Judge has done nothing but make my case worse. Unless you have money you want to throw away do NOT hire Cory!
I went through the worst experience of my life and Cory Wall was there every step of the way. He helped me through a terribly vicious and excruciating divorce to the extent I will not discuss here, but involved criminal courts, family courts, lawsuits, evaluators, trial and so much more. It would be safe to that Cory is an honorable attorney and an honorable human. Over several years time we corresponded through thousands (no exaggeration) of emails, dozens of hearings and long nights where we both emailed back and forth to get the job done to prep for court. He was respectful and sensitive to the demeaning and dehumanizing situation I was in for the divorce. He was strategic, he was kind where I needed to see humanity and he was striking in court when I needed him to be. Thank you Cory for putting up with my terrible case. Thank you Cory for being the guiding light when I needed one. Thank you for standing up for what was right. Thank you for having so much integrity. I will continue to refer people to your services.
I love that Wall and Wall is a family owned and family run business. One of the reasons I like that is because you get about six attorneys for the price of one. You have the benefit of all of the attorneys at the firm consulting with one another on your specific case to ensure that they are doing a great job for you. Cumulatively, they have over sixty years of experience (that would be my guess). They all have amazing personalities, and are charming and dedicated to their practice. Cory Wall is a gentleman, and he really cares for his clients and ensures they feel comfortable and that their needs are taken care of properly. I highly recommend Cory and all of the attorneys that work with him. They are zealous advocates with a wonderful sense of humor that really helps clients negotiate a good settlement in mediation, or ensure a good result in court.
I was looking for Cory Wall's office number and saw the review left by Mr. Wilcox and wanted to make sure to leave my review as well. There is nothing more aggravating then troll reviews with no reason why, what's the point of reviewing other than to just troll somebody because of your butt-hurt feelings? REVIEW: I was about 2 years in to my divorce and had been sifting through the legal proceedings with another attorney. Things started well and then gradually were not moving the way I wanted and knew I needed to find another attorney. I had been through 3 mediation sessions where each time 3 lawyers were involved, sat in the court room 5 times for trials, protective orders, hearings, and for similar purposes. At this point I had enough court exposure I had a really good feel of what a good attorney functioned like. I went looking and interviewed 10 different lawyers. Several were from the radio that claimed to be bad ass attorneys that knew everything about it, some were referrals, some were found on the internet searching for family law services. I sat with Cory for 15 minutes and hired him on the spot. I will vouch that he was well prepared for every meeting and court proceeding. The trial was the brightest spot of the whole process. He took the other party to task on false claims that were made and professionally shredded all the non-sense being spoken and presented at the trial. He did his homework on my case and came prepared to win. In the end the Judge ordered everything VERBATIM to what Cory offered the other party as a settlement. I would recommend his service to anybody personally and I am still incredibly grateful for all his service on my behalf.
Cory wall was my attorney in my custody case! He really knew his stuff and helped me understand everything that was going on! He really looked out for me and my daughter and I couldn’t have done this without him! He’s the best! I would highly recommend him to anyone!
