The best decision I ever made was hiring Joseph Lassen as my attorney. Mr Lassen took my case after 2 previous attorneys failed me and my child. I had odds stacked against me with an ex that had access to more financial resources than I did. The situation was dire for my child’s safety. Mr. Lassen and his staff provided support, updates and guidance throughout the custody and divorce proceedings. They accomplished the outcome we needed. I did a consultation call with Mr. Lassen and was very impressed by his honesty and care while on the call. I didn't need his services after all based on his own recommendation, and that speaks a lot. The process for setting up the consult and the consultation itself was professional and informative. Currently in my 10th month of working with them, and it at times I seem to talk to them more than my actual family 😛 I've gotten to know most all the staff, which is kinda like extended family to me at this point, as I go through this divorce. While I miss both Alejandro and Cameron in the front staff (they've both left already), and Analyssa, my initial lawyer who has left, that's also because it's been close to a year of having constant communication with them. It's been a pleasure to get to know Chelsea (who handles the payments), Crystal Bannin and Joe Lassen himself. While this case is more difficult, they've all handled it in stride. Chelsea has been so great and understanding, as this practice they accept smaller frequent payments to help you out. Yes, it was initially supposed to be about $10K, and I'm approaching double that now in my case. But as I had called at least 10 lawyers before deciding on Lassen, I am certain with any of the others (the vast majority did Not offer payment plans!), it would either be the same or more at this point. This practice has the experience (over 20 years!) and know-how and has proven capable of handling this high-conflict situation, and all the staff seems to really care. So yes, I recommend them!
