Save yourself thousands of dollars: find another firm. Yes, my attorney was communicative. Yes, things moved forward. What was missing... advocacy. The firm refused to take responsibility for anything. Every win was their strategic prowess; every loss was the judge's 'inconsistency' or the commissioner's 'bias.' Those excuses wore thin when we started losing winnable motions. Here's what can't be blamed on someone else: My attorney regularly double-booked my court dates and missed my pre-trial conference, filed documents incorrectly (resulting in rejection), failed to send me my status conference link, sent me agreements with another client's name on them, and sent me someone else's complete tax returns. You read that correctly... someone else's complete tax returns. When I expressed concern about my own information being similarly mishandled? No response. And the billing practices? When I was awarded $1,000 in legal fees from the opposing party...Tsai Law charged me over $200 to mail me that check. Does it really take an hour to mail a check? When I expressed concern about my representation, the firm saw no reason to make an adjustment. I even asked for a new lawyer.... was told to "hang in there." Inexcusable.

I just had the best legal consultation ever with Attorney Daniel Newton. He was extremely calm, patient, attentive, and respectful of my questions and concerns. He is a great listener and gave me forthright feedback and suggestions. I’m grateful to him as it has been difficult to find anyone to even hear my case. I retained Tsai Law Company and worked with Stockton Pendergast as well as his legal assistant Dakota while going through a divorce. Divorce is an arduous and unpleasant process in the best of circumstances; Working with Stockton made the process at least procedurally easy. Stockton and Dakota were always prompt with responses, updates, and answering questions about my case. I particularly appreciated that Stockton was able to answer questions thoroughly and practically about paths forward in negotiation and talk through potential outcomes. He was very good at talking me through both the process itself, as well as the pros and cons of all the decisions I needed to make. Their advice and expertise helped me resolve my case without needing to go to court, despite sometimes contentious settlement negotiations. I highly recommend Stockton Pendergast! He’s polite, punctual and has great communication. I’ve been working with Stockton for 2 years now I wouldn’t pick anybody else. I was served with custody papers 2 years ago a week before Christmas. Everyone was on vacation, office was closed or every lawyer said they were too booked. I felt like I had hit rock bottom. Then I found Stockton and he was very transparent and straightforward from the start. My case was a custody battle with DV involved. It was 2 separate cases combined into one. It could have been very confusing but with Stockton he broke everything down for me and made me feel 100% comfortable I knew I could trust him for my case. We did have to go to trial for my case. TSAI law company cares about people. Attorney David Kitchel and Paralegal Kim Lovstrom worked for the best outcome for my family. I am a construction worker who is blessed with 4 children and had a stay at home mom that decided to split the family. David worked through the mud, bringing truth to the forefront. Because of David and Kim's great care and diligence, I was awarded the children and our family home.

Stockton Pendergast was great from start to finish. He was able to take my case right away and start working on it. He was professional and thorough. He was confident at trial and ultimately fought for what i needed and delivered.

My lawyer was fine but it was his paralegal that was the reason for the two star. When Kim sent me documents to review, on two separate occasions, she typed my name wrong even though I had brought it up her attention the first time. You would think when u pay someone 85- 100 dollars an hour, the very least that person can get your name right. But no. She chugged it up to typo. My name is only 3 letters, first of all. Second, as a paralegal it was her job to proof things before the correspondence goes out! Second, she was unprofessional when it came to Billings. My case ended in Oct and no additional work was done and all was paid up to date. 3 months later she sent me a bill out of no where. When I asked how to charge came about she just said to me that it was a balance being forwarded. I wanted more clarification as to when the charge took place, she never responded. **** update**** Would take back one star because I just found out the lawyer increased his hourly rate without letting me know. And the paralegal, Kim, has the hourly rate of 180. Again, if you are paying someone that kind of money, the very least you would expect from that person is able to spell your name correctly.
