My divorce was a very, very trying time in my life; one of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to do. After speaking with several other lawyers before talking to David, it was refreshing talking to someone who really understood my situation as a retired military person being married for over 27 years, David was very good at listening to all my concerns and he was able to answer any questions I had, we were able to go with just mediation instead of having to go to court. His insight to how things would go and experience were exceptional and right on point throughout the mediation. He never tried to make my case go any longer than it needed and I was never charged for any service I didn't receive. David Caveda was referred to me in 2010 and helped me with my child custody case. David and everyone at the Caveda Law firm were professional and helped me work out a fair and just parenting plan with my ex that awarded me joint custody and timesharing with my son, plus 3 weeks each for summer vacation. My boy and I have enjoyed many quality Father and son times together from coaching baseball for 9 years, to Boy Scouts, and vacations with family and friends that my son will cherish and remember for a lifetime. More importantly, I have shared responsibilities with all major decisions like education, medical, activities and well-being so his mother and I can provide our child with the best care together. Recently, Dec, 2022 through March 2023 the ex was violating our parenting plan timesharing by refusing my overnights. Coming from the heart, David Caveda absolutely deserves an award for everything he did for my children & I. My case was very strenuous and unpredictable as to what could be decided and he still accepted while being positive and reassuring along the way of my 1 1/2 year nasty divorce and relocation case.
