Recently fired Mr. Isles, 2 weeks ago. Still havent sent me the paperwork to show he is no longer representing me. My divorce has been going on for over 3 years now and no progress has been made from the beginning. Never returns phone calls or emails. Never updates on the status of the case, but quick to ask for more money. Most recent event, he asked for a continuation of my case again telling the judge i would be home from deployment in November. He never discussed this with me and obviously knew nothing about my case because i have submitted my orders, my new address, and pay stubs from me living in North carolina for the last 3 months, where i am stationed for the next 9 years. A total piece of work.

I hired Mr. Isles a 10 years ago because he said he knew the family law code so well that our assigned judge once told him to advise her how she should rule in a case. Of course, this, in my opinion, was an unethical lie to prey upon the desperate. But I was fired up and believed him. I hired him on the spot and dropped $2500 in his piggy bank. I worked hard to provide his legal assistant all the information for my case, which they used word-for-word in the filing. Then, on my day in court - the most important day of my family life thus far - Attorney Richard K. Isles didn't show up. Instead, he sent a low-level intern-type kid who'd just passed the bar exam. I got my clock cleaned that day. It turns out I never really had a case and I *believe* Mr. Isles knew it. He took my money and sent in a sacrificial lamb for the slaughter. I lost. It was humiliating and damaging to my family. A good attorney, I soon learned, would have advised me in a very different direction. Isles took my money when (I believe) he knew I'd lose. And of course, from the moment he sent his intern onward, they stopped taking my calls. Whatever your family law situation, do not hire this guy. For me, it's been over 10 years and I am still taking the time this very morning to write this review. In other words, I am still dealing with the consequences of trusting an unethical attorney - huge mistake. Live and learn. Hopefully, you will learn from me, and not through the experience of hiring a poser and losing your family.
