Wiesneth Law Office

He's closing shop. He told me to find a different attorney today. He's not a decent attorney. He really was the worst attorney. Not only did he throw me under the bus going at top speed, but really got mad when I refused to change my chapter 13 over to a 7. Then decided I wasn't worth his time, so he withdrew as counsel at the last minute. Since I posted this review, This attorney has made certain I couldn't find find another attorney. I am now losing my home because of him. I'll be homeless before the holidays. So thanks for absolutely making certain I'm homeless James. May God give you the same fate!

Wiesneth Law Office is awesome! I was referred from a co-worker; who's dad connected with this law office as well as my co-worker himself. And, I cross referenced this law firm with another family lawyer of mine, who said "was the best in the business". James R Wiesneth is super personable and answered all of my questions. Worst definition of professionalism I have ever seen in my entire life. This so called "attorney" had not contacted me over 2 months before my court date for my children. Unfortunately I trusted his ethics and work that he had everything taken care of and that was a HUGE mistake. I finally decided to contact him a week before my court date to find out that he decided he was not "mentally and medically " prepared to take family court style cases leaving me to push this court date back even further than it already had been. If you are relying on this man, think again . It may be the worst mistake you ever made as well . He obviously can't handle life nor a business. Poorest excuse for an attorney I have ever seen .

I couldn’t be more happy with the work that James Wiesneth did for me in my paternity case. He always responded in a timely manner and made sure to explain everything to me along with the possible outcomes. I am very passionate about this law firm. They helped my family and I get through a very difficult time. My mother got a divorce from her husband and it was very difficult for our entire family, The staff made us feel very comfortable in every way and made everything go a lot smoother than would have ever thought possible. Very easy process because of them! 🙂

This guy is the worst family lawyer in town. We paid this man $3000 to represent our family in a juvenile dcs case and he did not do what a lawyer is supposed to do. He said that he was going to make them prove everything that was being said against us and then he did nothing. He actually didn't even want for us to go to the fact finding and recommend we sign the plea agreement, which then got me arrest 1.5 hours later. When I got out of jail the next day I called his office and told him he was fired and wanted a receipt showing all expenses concurred and I wanted a check with whatever money was left. They never provided a reciept instead sent us a letter saying he withdrew his counsel because of something I wasn't doing.

James helped us with bankruptcy, I was constantly getting calls from creditors for hospital bills from previous marriage and close to being garnished on my wages again. He also helped keep us from losing our house in a tax sale here in Vigo County. If you feel overwhelmed this is the place to go.
