My experience was +/_ 15 years ago and before surveys held any weight. His name came up in conversation today and my blood pressure spiked. Take it for what it is but this needs to be known. I had a consultation providing information asked, paid my retainer (cant remember exact $ but was somewhere in the $2500-$3000 range) and he was to represent me. He gave me a to do list and I provided all information asked. I was waiting at the court house to go into courtroom, he shows up minutes before we were to start and tells me he cannot represent me because of "conflict of interest", he had a consultation with my ex wife on a previous custody battle. This was disappointing because it seems as if this would be the first thing done during a consultation, but not the end of the world, just needed to get a different lawyer. All I needed was a refund to retain a different lawyer. I had to go in person to press the refund and was given an invoice with a ton of charges for phone calls and other services listed with a check that was a small portion of what my retainer was. Had to borrow money to retain another lawyer. He may have changed in the last 15 years and be a moral person, but this was my experience then.

Mr. Hogan was, and is, absolutely amazing. He knew exactly what he was doing! He knew the law and we got the outcome that we wanted. We will not use anyone else for any family issues that may come up again. Hands down the BEST family law attorney in Tyler and East Texas!
